well picked myself up a pally today and decided to do some 5v5 all i can say is wowomgaoedpsftw. we went 3-0 at first and had high hopes blowing a team up in a matter of seconds. Then we met the "rezfear" team priest, priest, warlock, druid, DK. both the dk pet and lock pet were eating all my tremor totems then i was promptly feared all over the map. thats ok i could deal with that they had no dps. But wait i killed 1 and hes back to life wth. their whole plan was when someone died get out of combat and rez like hell. Finaly after 5 losses we figured out how to beat them and they didnt win again. we took a small break did WG for marks and went back to it. ok we met warrior, boomkin, feral druid, s.priest, rogue team. no healer you say? didnt matter i was dead in under 5 sec. all of me. i ended the day at 8-15. better than i thought i would do with 400 resil and 18k hp base but i dunno if i even want to go back. I highly doubt 500 more resil and a few thousand more hp will do anything but prolong my death. Plz tell me it gets better!

500 resilience = naked. 1000 resilience is a thick skin, keep at it =)

dont listen to naysayers, they just suck at arenas. I suck at arenas and im still in deadly/furious gear now

well it went a bit better this week cept for 4 games when i met 4 ret pally+dk team even though i took out 1 pally instantly their is no way i could survive the aoe dps from all 4 of them. going to make myself a better spread out macro for these types of teams see what happens. Way i figure it is if i get atleast 7-8 wins a week ill be happy so i get closer to 1500 rating then ill turn serious about it. right now its fun to just roflstomp 1 person then try to survive the other 4 peoples dps before i take a dirt nap. I have a huge problem with teams that have like 3-4 rez types. seems their whole mission is to run in different directions and rez whoever dies. got a 1900 rated team down to 2 people and no matter how hard i tried to kill the pally and priest i just couldnt catch them. when i went after 1 the other was rezzing and vise versa. what do youi guys do about teams that just rez.

I played my first matches of s6 today and i was truely amazed how well it actually went 13 - 6 when that is said i still have 3lvl 70 items on my chars plus i only got full savage and the hatefull non-set gear im around 550 resil and 19k health and my MMR went to 1600 yet i still faced some of the top ranked teams in my battlegroup. So im looking forward to more fun

I went with a priest, it seems priests are fine again, now when we got our instants we dont exactly need the stun from paladin in special situations. sins we should take down our target when we use it. And all thise paladins who are in the 5v5s thise days... they really dont like mass disspell :D try it out ! :P

After testing a paladin in full deadly and with 1 furiouse a priest in worse do better. (most likley due to skill)

Pain suppression > HoP

Everytime we face priests/shamans they keep mass dispelling me untill i got zero buffs.

When they zerg me they spam purge/dispell on my the one they focus and remove HoP before the paladin have casted his next heal, even worse is teams with both a shaman/priest. Bloodlust and the priest just stand there mass dispelling during the zerging removing my bloodlust,em(if im unlucky) and my paladins bubble. Ofc he can run out of range but then hes weak towards fear after the bubble is out and lots of priest got the rocket boots.

Just keep working on your gear, the deadly gear isnt far behinde furiouse but it do give some advantage. Reach 1300 and you can start buying deadly gear cheap! Always do VOA even if its only on your main as lots of teams focus your main and expect you to go down once hes dead. Ive stacked more resillience on my "main" then on my slave even if i can switch between them all. Im now sitting at 2k spell damage on my main and 2.1k spelldamage on my slaves, when i drop TOW and blow my em,trinket and bloodfury i drop fully buffed retadins with 25-28k hp in a flameshock+lava burst. Few ret paladins stack resillience since they lose so much damage and have proven to be easy targets unless they are in the bubble. Warriors are certainly not easy targets and the enemy team always expect me to blow up warriors/hunters. I usualy go for rets, mages, druids, rogues, locks who arent destro is pretty much free kills. When i face teams with warrior/hunter/rogue i just have to focus the one who does most damage since i wont get rid of the ms debuff fast enough.

Belf silence is without doubt a hard case and ive seen it ruin tons of matches mainly due to destroying my burst. If your undergeared and your healer gets inside the aoe silence its a 99% loss.

Were moving up steady now and we managed 1667 rating and i got myself the furiouse ring, we will without doubt be able to reach higher rating and we faced some realy good teams today.

The teams start to normalize on 2 meele dps, ranged and 2 healers. Theese teams are ususaly cake and i can win even with screwing up my burst. I think im close to 300 matches and there is still tons of adjusting to do, but were down to something like 5% loss due to dumb mistakes. I never realised that placement could be this important and tbh i still struggle in dalaran sewers, there just dont seem to be a good spot. My healer have to be in the perfect range were he gets my totems but can avoid fears and aoe silences.

Anyway i got my sign from god today when i ended up on 1337 arena points!

Also worth to mention is that for the first time in my boxing carer i ressed in a arena match wich felt pro. (okey i had 3 shamans left vs a singel priest) :D

yea this is only my 3rd week playing since like s3. so much has changed its hard to adjust. kill order is difficult to think about. always use to be drop the warrior now those guys roll in arena with like 32k hp and that blade storm crap is no joke. I can manage to drop a pally if they arent expecting it but most of the time they just bubble soon as they get flame shocked. rogues are still a pain in my arse. like they really needed a damn aoe ability. anyway im gunna keep at it and hopefully ill get back to 1900 or so where i was in s3. Anyone have any advise on kill order im all ears.

In another thread, a poster recommended Arena Junkies, to determine kill order.

In Ellay's mulitbox video with commentary, he recommended taking out their highest DPS first, as they were the most threat to a boxing team.
Not really sure if Arena Junkies will have the same recommendation as a boxer, or if boxing has the same priority in this season.

Cleave teams are the bane of my existance, but overall I'm enjoying the season. Getting used to playing with a pally, which was a huge learning curve, but we do pretty well on our terribad BG.

I would GLADLY take multiple dks on the opposing team than face a warrior/ret/rogue or even a warrior/ret/elemental.

Granted, I'm not breaking 20k hp w/ Kings and sporting 825 resilience on my main and Savage gear on the clones still... o.O
