I have two computers running one instance of WoW and keyclone. I updated keyclone to 1.9 and now whenever I press a key On WoW1 machine 1, WoW2 on machine 2 minimizes. It goes either way, a key press on WoW2 machine 2 will minimize WoW1 machine 1. The keys are transmitted like they should, it just minimizes the other machines WoW

ok I have it somewhat fixed. I dont know how but, most keys will pass without minimizing the other computers WoW. I really dont know why its doing it, but the G key would still minimize the other computers WoW so I added it to the do not pass list in both keyclones and now my space , number keys and F keys will pass without minimizing the other computers WoW .... Crazy

The space bar when used on computer 2's WoW to jump would minimize computer 1's WoW. I just set computer 1's keyclone to send only and It doesnt minimize computer 1's WoW. I didnt have to do this with 1.8 and consider it a temp fix because I would like to be able to pass computer 2's keystrokes to computer 1 sometimes.

Any ideas on how to fix the minimize issue?

Havent moved any files, nothing. But all settings except the command list on the connect dropdown are gone. Maximizer settings and the acctual commands are all gone.

@Toad
are you running either window in full screen mode?

@dwaine
are you using any software firewall software that may block keyclone from accessing a folder? i realize you could unblock it... but during the moment when the app is asking, it could have returned a fail response to keyclone... making it think the settings file doesn't exist.. and it will then go into default config mode.

it could also be a vista permissions issue. are you using vista?

I've been seeing this as well. I've only seen it when I dual box (both maximized) and haven't noticed it when I multi-box 2 or more. My usual setup is one machine main and the second dual or multi-boxing the rest.

I can "solved" it by closing out WoW and relaunching the game. It seems to happen when I launch WoW first and alt-tab out to start KeyClone. It's only done it on my multi-box and haven't see it occur on my main box, but that box is set to transmit only.

Both are full screen. I don't play in windowed mode because the graphics are not as good

hmmm... the graphics should be exactly the same, but the resolutions might be different.

what res do you run at in wow? what res is your screen normally? does this problem happen if you are in windowed mode?

I haven't noticed while in windowed mode. I've see it, so far, only in full screen mode.

Is there a way to go back to older keyclone versions? This latest version turns off my interbox mouse/keyboard broadcasting. Then I get the random error where none of my keyboards type. The only way to fix it is to reboot both my pc's. I regret upgrading. Not sure what the new version does over the old. I prefer the old.

1680x1050 ingame and on the desktop on machine 2, machine 1 is 1920x1200 ingame and desktop. I dont play in windowed mode, but I did try it and it kicks my mouse to the other machine instead of minimizing. I am also using multiplicity so I can control both machines with one keyboard and mouse. This setup worked fine with 1.8
