Sorry if this is really obvious, I'm completely new to this.

My goal is to control 2 WoW characters using only 1 computer. I'd have both accounts of WoW open at the same time on the same computer and, theoretically, start in exactly the same place and have the same UI on both so the characters would always be in the same place and do exactly the same thing (seems more reliable to me than /follow and /assist). My problem is I don't know how to control 2 programs at once using 1 keyboard and 1 mouse if they're on the same computer. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks for reading!

EDIT: BTW, I only have 1 monitor, I'm sure I could remedy this if possible but I'd prefer it this way.

2ND EDIT: Okay, I spent a little more time looking around (like I should have done in the first place -_-) but I was wondering if this AutoHotKey thing duplicated mouse movements as well as clicks? Would the cursor move in both programs? Is there a way to get the same result not using programs? Still a little worried about getting banned. :P

You have to use follow.

Fears, lag, etc will desync you.

D'oh!

Well.. better to find out now.. tell me 1 thing though: How long would 2 chars stay within a few feet of eachother before the lag took them too far away? Just wether it'd still be worth it to buy a pair of wireless keyboards..

How can you run 2 wows from one PC with a wireless keyboard and 2 receivers? wouldnt it just send the keystrokes to the top/active wow?

Well, think about it. If you are off by just one degree but travel a great distance, eventually you will be a large distance apart.

You can do it for brief periods of time but to keep it workable, you really need to use /follow.

Not to say you can't use some creative macros to spread out though.
