Currently 76 and omg even with Triple XP it's going slow, I can't imagine the snail pace without it haha. I'm definitely enjoying every moment though.

Pft, I haven't even made it to 30 yet! :P
I plan on correcting that soon though..gotta finish up a few more home projects and have my daughter's first b-day.

You locking for AAs? or just taking what you get and leveling as fast as you can? I'm thinking about leveling fast, then making two new accounts later and mentoring down for AAs later on.

You are probably also seeing the changes that were put in a few months ago where they reduced the experience requirements for levels 20-70. This was put in with GU 49 ('http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=431835')

I tried the locking method for a little bit in the 20's/30's but decided to just level instead, I'm almost at 100 aa's and tons of quests to do when I'm 80 :) I'm happy with where I am at.

Yeah, 70-80 is reeeally slow...even slower trying to play catchup with 2 when the other 4 have already done the quests. But you get some very nice stuff out of some of the quests and factions.

I broke down and "unlocked" last night. :S
It's just for one level..I can quit whenever I want too! ..yeah that's it...

Still only lvl27 with 27aa's. I will level lock at 32. Not so much for AA's although that will be nice, but because I really don't feel I know enough about EQ2 to continue on much farher. I do intend to group up my guardian in regular non-boxer groups and I don't know what all the buffs are, what the debuffs are, how to really do herorics...that...yah, I'd be the poster child for the anti-powerlveling hater people to point to. I may even start a new character and just play him in groups only and try to learn the game from a single account perspective. I don't want to be level 70+ and notreally know what I am doing and if the game play is similar to what it is now, I probably can box my group to lvl80 without really knowing anything.

I've been locking through the teens to tag as many named mobs as I can in Antonica and the dungeons.
Its alright I geuss. I played when EQ2 first came out, and the leveling rate was MUCH slower then. This pace, even with locking, is going faster then my original experience.
I'm at 22 and 20 AA at this time.
