Does anyone know if Macs need to use Mac specific keyboards? I use Macs and am wondering if I have to find wireless keyboards designed for macs of if any one will do.
Macs use the "apple command key." does this automatically translate to the "windows whatever they have" key on those keyboards?

Thanks for the insight.

*EDIT: I think I've found my answer ('http://www.dslreports.com/faq/11583'). Thanks.

Mac's need everything to be mac specific. Lack of compatibility is a huge flaw they should of rethought years ago.

My Mac Mini recognized my generic keyboard/mouse with no problems. It had me hit the keys to the left and the right of the "space" keys, but that was about it.

It'll remap your windows key to the apple key, and your alt key to the options key...if the Mac won't do it by itself, the keyboard manufacturer's website will have the drivers you need.

jdpatt is correct.

The days of Mac incompatibilities on all fronts are long gone. They play fairly well with lots of different peripherals.

I have used a number of PC keyboards with my Mac Pro without issues.

Yup. I found some conformation from a couple of other places too.
Thanks for the responses.
