I love you forever. I didn't think there were any other multiboxers on Bonechewer.

I want some IM info! =P

72 Alliance Druids.

Haha, I thought it was pretty much only me and Emesis on the 'chewer. I was actually on my mage and somebody said they got owned by a 5 box druid setup so I decided to bring the DK and shammies and say HI :p

I don't use IM or anything, but I always am on this forum when I'm at work, so if you wanna chat just send me a PM or something.

Oh, and who were the draeni box group? You?

That's Gitcho.

I'm the silly druids.

Now I don't care if I get camped. My screams of terror and subsequent giggles are worth it when I see you ---slowly--- swoop down on your normal fliers and kill me.

17k gold to go before I get a epic storm crow doom squad.

Lol, yea, I finally broke down and decided to save for my epic flyers. I moved to about 10 minutes away from my best friend's house and where our quads are kept, so I've been going out there a lot now that it's warmer and getting dark later, so I figure it'll take a while. So far, I'm at 4k/25k towards my flyers.

Hey guys! great to see you last night. I had only seen one other boxer (a dranaie dual boxer) on this server (besides emesis) but that was months ago ... I was turning in some quests when I saw that "fort wildevar is being attacked" ... when i saw the 80's, i thought I'd jump in, and saw a whole bunch of totems =) I didn't realize it was a horde 5 boxer until after I ran back to my body (thus the subsequent rez + dance). I was so excited to see another boxer that I didn't realize the 5 alliance druids was yet another boxer ... I didn't realize that those 80's showed up b/c some other alliance guy had killed the 2 lowby questing horde, and the fight was on b/c they logged onto their 80's to get revenge. I was trying to rez right in front of them and /dance to show that I wasn't part of the original ganking, but they were too pissed to pay attention =)

*sigh* ... best night of wow evar!

I've got a few teams (see this thread ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=19383') ), but my main team is either my pally @ 74, priest / 3xmage @ 73 and my shamans at 70. I'm finding instance running easier with my shamans than with my pally team for some reason, but questing with either is hard on the brain ... so slow ...

@Sajuuk - so glad I ran across u - ur on my list ... we should do a BG together!

@Siaea - ur team looks sooo good with flyers ... cant wait to hit 80 =)

I didn't see you Gitcho until I saw a bunch of similarly named corpses on the ground in a familiar pattern.

And for the record...I only touched the death knights and the 80s that came to gank me and the priest that were there.

I don't know who the UD mage was, but I left him alone. However, I do kill death knights on sight...especially male blood elves.

Oh..you don't need to wait until 80 for fliers..just 77. :)

LOL - my team has seen that pattern more times than I can count ... my team is FINALLY strong enough to beat most 80 casters ... still have troubles with strong melee class

And for the record...I only touched the death knights and the 80s that came to gank me and the priest that were there. yeah - i know ... think it was a 71-72 solo priest ... he wasn't making the connection between the lowby horde he was killing and the 80's that were camping him shortly after =)

However, I do kill death knights on sight...especially male blood elves.heh heh ... agreed ... i don't know why, but even at the risk of being camped by hordes of 80 horde, i am compelled to go after DK ... it's kinda like how you lose your innocence the first time you go to STV as alliance and decide not to play nice anymore

It will be well into 80 before I can get epic flyers unfortunately ... i've stolen $$ from my top teams to train skills on my other teams =/ oh well ... Hopefully emesis is still around by the time I get to 80 - I think he's fed up waiting for me =)

I've got 3 druids @ lvl 60, and 2 @ lvl 46 and am excited about playing them, but not till I'm 80 =) How do you like playing them? U have any other teams? Would you still pick druids?

I only have one other high level team, and it's a paladin/four shaman on Runetotem-PvE, horde.

Not jumping onto the RAF bandwagon puts a nice damper on things, as it takes me several months to get one team to 70. I would definitely do druids again, as I was starting to kill people of at least 75 at level 60/61. I think I got my first 80 (a warlock) at 62. A forest of treants goes a long way against a high level.

And not having money...that's one advantage of not having RAF-I've amassed a nice chunk of change for my fliers. One thing I did over two sets of characters (my druids and death knights on runetotem) was do the mechanical chicken quests. I sold them all for at least 750-850 gold (On Runetotem, at least. I sold the last one for 850 on bonechewer)

Oh...I saw those death knights I ganked yesterday again. This time I ran in, moonfired the blood elf to death, and rode off. =P Then I came back on the next quest and repeated myself.

LOL - must be so frustrating to be killed by a bunch of lvl 62's at 80 ...

I notice ur using exactly the same setup I am ... core i7 | p6t deluxe | 12GB .... i use an Asus 4850 512mb card on a dell 24" monitor and run all windows at lowest settings except the main where it's about medium effects. I have to turn draw distance down to lowest, and turn off shadows to get decent frame rates in northrend ... haven't been to dalaran yet ... how does it work for you ?

Sajuuk

On average I get around 20/30ish FPS on my main client in dalaran, although it's been a bit choppier lately since my RAM has been capping out (I turned my texture settings on all clients up, hence the soon to be 12Gb). As far as monitors I'm just using a 19'' widescreen with a 19'' regular LCD monitor.

But in general I get some good performance in dalaran. (My Solid State Hard Drive does make a nice difference)

It's always nice to see another boxxer who lives close to me!

I'd laugh if we were only blocks apart because I'm only one block outside Vancouver

I'm actually not in Vancouver proper. I live out in the valley but I work in Surrey. Yeah - i wonder how many people from around this area box =)

I work in Richmond ATM, but live in Burnaby. I believe there is someone else who posts here who is in Vancouver (Uulaa) I think but I can't remember.

rofl, I wasn't there to camp, just to say hey, but the droods kept attacking me :P

(on my slow flyers, nontheless)

You guys should reroll horde bonechewer, so we can run some dungeons! Otherwise, I won't attack you, unless I hear of some 5 boxer attacking lowbie horde :)

Sajuuk

No thank you. I leveled up my druids the old-school way and I don't want to reroll and spend another three/four months getting them back to this point. :(

Hands off, Siaea!

Been waiting for these guys to get to 80 and gear a bit so we can run some 2-team Naxx. :-)

Edit: If you see "Mullethead", be nice, he's just a lowbie UD mage trying to catch up to the shammies :P

It won't be hard to kill him, I've totally forgotten how to play a mage. The sad thing is, he was my first 60 way back in the day.

If you get my character/guild naming scheme, you are awesome! Ok, now I have to ask...what is it?

Sajuuk
05-06-2009, 08:15 PM
All the names are from Homeworld (The video game, an older RTS). Sajuuk is the progenitor weapon that is the focal point of Homeworld 2. In the game you abandon the second mothership for Sajuuk in the center of the galaxy, which you travel to through Balcora gate (My avatar)

Hraal, Paktu, Gaalsien, Soban and Somtaaw are names of Kiith clans in the homeworld universe (Think of them as family groups).

Unbound is a reference to the main protaganist and another (Friendly) faction. Protaganist Karan Sjet (a neuronics expert whose breakthroughs in neuroscience allowed the controlling of the first mothership. She wired herself into the mothership and became its core, as no computer could be controlled with such a massive task. The tasks included: Ship construction, research, ore processing, maintaining cryotanks (In the game the population of their world is firebombed, only 600,000 or so survive because they were in their orbital cryotubes), sensors, navigation, weapons, and a slew of other things.

It's also a reference to the Bentusi, a trader race that refers to themselves as the Unbound. To be "Unbound" is to have a physical, nueral link with ones vessel. You ARE the core of the vessel.

Quick Copy/Paste from Encyclopedia Hiigara:

Unbound was a term used by the Bentusi to describe persons or races that were directly connected with their ships. Karan S'jet was the first person of the Kushan ('http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Kushan') race who was connected with a ship ('http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Mothership_%28Kushan%29'), thanks to cybernetic implants. Another known Unbound was the Vaygr ('http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Vaygr') warlord Makaan, using his connection with the Third Hyperspace Core ('http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Third_Hyperspace_Core') to bring the myriad Vaygr Crusades under his command and begin the Vaygr War ('http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Vaygr_War'). Every single Bentusi was also connected with their ship.

In other words, Homeworld is awesome and I should actually go back and beat the first game. >_>

/rambleramble.

Homeworld is the RTS upon I base my judgments towards other space-set games. So far only EVE online has come close to Homeworld, but it didn't really grab me. I may try it again later.

Edit: Holy cow Homeworld will run! =D Hallelujah!
