I previously had posted that my DK's were only doing about 550 dps in UK and I thought they were weak. ( apx 71 level ) this was before the last patch.
I just got my pally team to 70 and with all blacksmith crafted cobalt plate , they are doing 900-1000 dps. ( just love these guys )

So I've decided it just had a really lousy castsequence on my DKs because they just can't be that weak.
so anyone have a good death knight cast sequence?
does anyone use a castrandom like my pallys use?

ps> I looked at the wiki and nobody has added any macros for the DK, DK is too short a word to search on and most people post using DK as opposed to Death Knight and several people post with DeathKnight. ( i'm a search noob )

Well it depends on your spec. My DK is Frost and he does something like

Single Target

Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Blood Strike, Obliterate while spamming all his trinkets, cooldowns etc

AOE

D&D, Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Pestilence, Howling Blast, Blood Boil, Icy Touch Plague Strike, Pestilence, Howling Blast while spamming all his trinkets, cooldowns etc

I am sure there is better but that is what I use my DK is really set up as a meat shield and he does 1100 DPS on average. He has mainly AH bought epics and quest blues.

I suggest making a castsequence macro that cycles through all the runes
ex.
/castsequence blood, frost, unholy

i'm currently doing something like this for my DKs although they're only lv 67 atm and i really haven't put much effort into macros yet. But doing this gives each rune time to cooldown/recharge.
