As so now my only 80's are a dualboxed Prot Warrior and a Fire Mage. (I can't wait to get 5 man teams up there)

The Raptor boss is cake with a friend healing but I haven't tried the Tiger Boss yet.

From what I understand that it is similar to the Romoe and Juliet Opera event in Kara:
- The Boss and two mobs need to die with in 10 seconds or so of each other --- This will just have to be a matter to timing and switching targets I assume.
- The priest heals need to be interrupted --- Pretty easy to do with Shield Bash and Counterspell, I would think.
- There's something about the Rogue add blinding and gouging...

Does anyone have any advice on this encounter?
Thanks a lot.

The tiger boss is way easier than raptor. Just interrupt the heal and make sure they die within 10s of each other. I attack one at a time till they get to ~15-20% then use AE.

I went into ZG with my 3x 80 shaman and 80 feral druid last night for the first time. I've only been in there a handful of times. The bosses are stupid easy, I downed Snake, Spider, Bat, Tiger, and Raptor with no problem except for some hiccups. I ended up pulling the Raptor boss before I was ready, so there were instances of being feared into adds >.< The Tiger boss gave me the biggest headache, I dropped 3 Earth Elementals because I wanted them to be able to easily pick up anything so I could help nuke with the druid, this was a mistake. I would get each mob to ~15% HP and the EE's would finish them off and he'd get rezz'd before I could finish off the other two. At one point I had 2 down and the last one at 4% and he rezzed another one. >.< After a few rounds of this they stopped rezzing and the Tigerform version came out, this was the enraged form from what I read and is designed to wipe the raid, at 60. I just nuked him down. I blew through a lot of mana and this could have been cleaner, but it definetely wasn't hard by any means.

No Mount, but I gotta go get the quest for the lures so I can fish up Gahz'ranka for a chance at the turtle poly book. I think I'm going to go back tonight and see if I can clear the place just for the lols and acheivements. I think Hakkar is going to be the only obstacle.

For some real fun, pull Hakkar 1st.

The boss gets weaker with every boss you kill - so just kill him with all bosses up. "Hard Mode". No additional loot or anything, but at leas its a minor challenge instead of a cake walk.Interesting, I never did ZG seriously before BC, and I've only been there a handful of times. I may have to try this lol.

Last time I was there his MC would hit me because bloodworms made the game think I wasn't alone. He'd MC me, make me kill all the bloodworms, then reset and heal to full, then the MC would wear off.

Grats to those of you boxing this. I think Tiger and Raptor are actually harder with more than one character as solo makes certain aspects of the fight moot.

For those farming the raptor you can sit your ranged dps/healer up on the ledge and not worry about any of the gimmicks (also don't need to clear the room to avoid getting punted around).

Well, healer anyway. Always worked fine for dk+priest.

I beat Hakkar without killing any bosses with 4 shammies and pally. Pretty easy to do just straight DPS style as well no need to do anything else

Grrrrr. :) We never did get Hakkar, but we had the other bosses on farm, eventually - my rogue had a bank full of bijous and coins when BC hit, and they became worthless. She still has her voodoo doll, tho.

Worth doing:

Fish Boss
Quest line to get the shoulder enchants
Raptor and Tiger boss for mount

There's also a keg of beer you can grab beers from, near the crocs in the beginning, it's down a slope near where you spawn the fish boss. Not really worth anything, but might count towards the achievement where you drink a variety of drinks.

I plan on going back at some point, just for nostalgia, but my "To Do" list is pretty long right now!

Weekly I run;
MC for the thunderfury bindings (Don't know what I'm gonna do with the once I get them though).
ZG for the tiger and raptor mount
Karazhan for Attumen's mount
If I feel like it, I run ZG again 3 days later.

Some people might consider this a waste of time but:
From MC I sell Lava cores (30g), fiery cores (30g), core of earth (9g), heart of fire (4g). BoE Tier1 (~55g). The Nexus crystals are converted into small prismatic shard and then LPS.
From ZG I use the coins and buijo's to get to exalted. (The repair vendor outside Gundrak is Zandalar tribe, so exalted = cheaper repairs.) Later on, i'll sell them.
From Karazhan I get lots of stuff to DE which I use to enchant Mongoose on scrolls and sell those for 350-400g a piece.

Other than that, I pick up all trash, skin what I can and DE all greens, blues and soulbound epics. It's not as much as I'd make doing dailies but it's a hell of a lot more fun.

Is ZG on a weekly reset or is it shorter than that?

For fun I went in there and killed a few bosses. The tiger boss caught me off guard. I aggro'd too many mobs at once and for the life of me couldn't kill them all. Kept rez'ng each other! After about 15 minutes of healing myself and running out of mana I figured I need to try again so was able to drop aggro and go back and took it more seriously. Was no problem the second time! Didn't get the mount though. :(

I'm doing the exact same thing lol... one raptor mount the very first time I started farming all of these places. After that it's been nothing at all. The ZG runs are literally 15 minutes, I go straight to Bloodlord avoiding all the trash (except for the entrance to his area), don't even bother clearing inside and then take him out asap. Then avoid all the trash again and hit up the Tiger boss then hearth outta there.

Even if you get the Bindings you still need 10 elementium ore. :P I i remember correctly they only drop from trash after flamegore or whatever his name was.. This means you have to clear half of BWL 8-10 times atleast if you cant find it on AH.

You can get some of the goblins that drop the elementium ore after Vael (2nd boss) if you are quick to tag them before they run away.

The elementium ore is a pain to get. 100 Arcane crystals aren't easy to farm either but I'll just make it a low-priority project.

ZG is on a 3-day reset timer, just like ZA.

I think you are underestimating yourself, its really not that hard to get the ore or the crystals now. Have a few guild mates or friends join you (could probably even find some people to pug it) to get past razorgore and vael and you're pretty much set. Getting past the supression room shoudln't be very difficult now and once you're past that you can pull the goblin packs and collect more ore while avoiding the drakes. Now if you need to learn how to smelt elementium then yeah you'll have to go further but I bet any of the older guilds will have someone that can do that for you on your server.
