Thanks for the updates, Rob!
Is there a bug summary page somewhere? I'm curious if that bug with left- and right- versions of ctrl, alt, and shift being sometimes converted from one to the other was fixed (someone else summarized the problem excellently, somewhere) This is from the 1.8k time.
Thanks again for the new features :)

left and right distinction has not been worked, but is at the top of the list.
stabilizing this version is the current goal. then i'll start to kick out the rest of the list.

I was just trying out the regional keymaps, and I think the idea is great for the way I like to play. One question, though. If I use the command editor to associate a regular keymap with a command, I can get both keymaps to load. But if I manually load a keymap, I can no longer use both types of keymaps...I lose the regional one. What I'm trying to do is have one set of keymaps for my FTL setup, and a set of regional keymaps for formations. But when I change toons around I need to manually load different FTL keymaps while keeping the same regional ones. Is there a way to do this? Wow, I've said keymaps a lot. Did that make sense? ?(

can't you use the command keymap for what you need? why are you doing a manual load-keymap?
it is intended that you would have two keymaps possible; a region based keymap for formations and a keymap associated with the command.
btw, i have never done the FTL since i use all focus based macros but... could the region based keymaps factor into it somehow?

can't you use the command keymap for what you need? why are you doing a manual load-keymap?
I do a manual load keymap since I often change which accounts load into various regions (changing from 5 boxing to 3 boxing, running all dps or dps and a healer, etc). I like the regional keymap because it means no matter which toon I have in region1 and region2, they always will move left and right when I use my formation key, but when I do formations using the command keymap and the ftl system, if I change which account loads into region2 I might get both running to the right. It would all be so simple if I always ran 5 toons in the same windows but I never do anything the simple way lol. It's not an emergency, though, since I can just edit the command when I change the windows around.
As for regional working with ftl, for me they are very complimentary ideas because of the way I'm always changing my group up. Could be a fairly unusual situation, though.
EDIT: Turns out that if I use the maximizer setting on the shortcut menu from the status window I can just re-maximize the window back into that region and presto, the regional keymap loads up again. Works great and I'm very happy with this solution. :D

o add: 'receive only'; set in command for each wow instance
o bug: right-click/maximize... options missing; fixed
first of all i love the "receive only" option, i suggested that about a year ago when i first got keyclone and i'm very glad to see it put in. just 1 suggestion for it though, can you maybe see about putting an option to temporarily ignore it? with DNP on i figured it would ignore "receive only" but it doesn't. i login to 3 wow's on 1 pc and usuallyam already logged into my other 2, so with these 3 set to receive only i have to type in the password manually 3 times, and the blizzard authenticator key 3 times, unless i logout on my main pc and use DNP from there. lemme know if this doesn't make sense what im requesting. >.<
as for the Right click/maximize thing, i noticed that with 3.0 i couldn't right click world of warcraft on the taskbar and maximize/minimize it, and as of 1.9g that problem seems to still exist. is that referring to some other right click/maximize thing? or was that the bug you were talking about.
i made a post about this bug a while back and still haven't found a solution to it, which is very frustrating for when i am trying to write macro's on my alt windows cause they're too small to read when they are the default size from maximizer, so normally i would maximize them to full screen to write macros then "restore" when i was done.

o bug: override not working properly
Does this mean you're aware of a bug with override, or does this mean that you fixed a bug relating to it?
The reason I asked is because I just upgraded from 1.8k to 1.9g and notice that override has a bug where every few seconds, it switches focus to the "reminder" window. So if I'm typing a message in a window, it switches from that window to the "reminder" window, forcing me to have to click back in the window I want to type in.

the one issue i noticed was the system tray icon flashing when i mouse across windows. could this be related?
as for mouse broadcasting, i think there is still something not quite right there... i'll be working on it tonight

I am loaidng both wow windows from same folder locale just wondering if switching to another wow install on seperate drive will fix this or if anyone has this problem. I think affinity is set for cores and that maybe y it closes when it trys to set it. idk tho. ty if anyone has any input

i run 5 wows from the same folder on a quad core running vista64. for each wow i specify a cpu affinity for 2 cores.
the only change i have see recently regarding loading wow happens with or without keyclone running. as wow is loading, it will change the window by showing the border briefly during the loading screen. this is definitely a wow issue.
as for exiting while loading, i have not seen that. (make sure you aren't accidentally hitting esc while loading.. unlikely, but i'm just pointing out the obvious)

Recently, WoW sometimes gives a black screen during loading, and if you click the window while it's black, the window disappears, exited. But I believe this is an issue with WoW, not keyclone, since i get it soloing too.
Anyway, I have an issue with this newest version of keyclone where sometimes (most of the time actually) if I'm in Dalaran on 5 toons, the Pause broadcasting key does not work properly.
Its like, hitting it makes the mute turn on and off really fast, leaving a shadow of the Mute notification up, but with broadcasting still on, sometimes if I hit it enough times, it may finally work, but usually it just keeps goin into this state of half-existence.
Manually clicking the override button on the keyclone window properly overrides broadcasting, and hitting the Pause key again will properly turn the Mute off. But its really annoying to have to manually bring up the keyclone window for this while in dalaran.
I even tried putting the Pause button on my do not pass list, in case it was getting pressed 5 times or something, but this had no effect (as it shouldnt).

@Maxion
please make sure you are running v1.9g (check keyclone/setup/about or the titlebar)

I am, the problem seems to occur whenever my CPU is running at 100% or more when i have excessive lag, which so far has happened in Dalaran and Alterac Valley.
Just wondering why I never had this issue before updating keyclone.

Hi,
I purchased a license and installed Keyclone on my core quad running windows XP and two instances of LOTRO.
When I attempt to activate the keyclone between the two windows the tool crashes, with no debug log or indication why. Running BitDefender, which is in game mode and shouldn't be causing any problems.
Advice appreciated. I'm more curious than anything as I've traditionally used my extra accounts for bank and craft space. Maybe there is MORE? :)
Yours,
coman

@maxion
please drop me a pm with your system specs and the number of wows you have running, so i can understand how overloaded your system is.
@coman
welcome to the forum. i am unfamiliar with LOTRO or BitDefender, but there should be no reason keyclone would crash using it. please PM me more information regarding the issue

as for mouse broadcasting, i think there is still something not quite right there... i'll be working on it tonightI only see it when I use override and type on the keyboard, without touching the mouse. (such as when I need to respond to a whisper or type something in guildchat) It happens every time I use override, without fail, on both of my 2 machines. (I run 4 wows on my main desktop and 1 more on my laptop) It is as though whichever machine I'm typing on will do an "alt-tab" to bring focus to the override reminder window while I'm in the middle of typing a chat message. I have not noticed the system tray icon flashing.
