Questions!

So I had this idea a while back, and I have a buddy who'd apprenticing to be a master winemaker. So I casually asked him a few questions, and now you!

Did you do the winemaking or did you ahve it done somewhere else?
You hired a winemaker, was this done at some other facility, or one you created?
Did you grow or buy your grapes? (seems to be you bought)
did you use old or new casks? (I'm thinking new)
Which casks do you prefer, French or American oak?
Are you thinking of doing this longterm?

Do you have a distributor, or are you doing this independently online?

and finally:

Any discounts for your fellow multiboxers to taste? :D :D

Unless Xzin is hooked into the upper echelons of Beam International (of Jim Beam fame), this isn't his creation, just a nice happenstance :)

If Xzin happens to look like the winemake on the site.... Me luv you long time?

I doubt that this is a Xzin creation, just something that he stumbled across and thought would we worth a look for us fine community members.

I wouldn't know, she's cute. But I heard a rumor somewhere that women have this crazy gene. Where they just have to be insane, there is no medical reasoning behind it, but they just are crazy.

In fact I have yet to meet a woman that does not have this gene.

But on topic: friend of yours?

I have to agree about the crazy gene. Seems if they like gaming, they get a really bad double dose of it.

I dated a girl last year that was into wow, was a blast for the first 3 or 4 months. Then she stopped pretending to be normal, and let her inner freak hang out.

Our last fight day before thanksgiving was her screaming at me due to my parents being happily married and my brother still being alive. (her parents divorced, her brother died when she was 12)

Women = Evil :twisted:

You obviously haven't met the right woman then :)

And beyond that.... established lines of communication.

I've met the right woman, but as I've stated all women are crazy.

But where would we be without a bit of crazy in our lives? It helps keep us grounded.

I know for a fact that if it weren't for my fiancé I would be much much farther down the rabbit hole that is multiboxing. But because as a family we need things like furniture and food that can't be microwaved I am forced to spend money on more "practical" things (not that I'm complaining)

By established lines of communitcation, you mean business associate or personally know?

I intend to get past these vague comments if at all possible. We need to know the real Xzin, not just the mighty Wizard of Oz.

I'd like to know who the real Xzin is too with all the business talk you do ;p

Though I also agree on the "All women are crazy" topic; I've also yet to meet one that isn't :p

I'd really like to hear Vyn's retort to this topic. Then Suvegya's (/sp?)

Just to see if we can't get to the bottom of the crazy gene.

In spite of my significant other, I 10 box. I don't see the "shame" that some people express here. You act like what you are doing is an addiction, a disease or that something is wrong with you.

At some point perhaps, you can reach that with anything - sure.

But it's not like you are mortgaging the house to buy a $1000 box and spend $75 a month for HOURS AND HOURS of social interaction, entertainment and problem solving (among other things).

Honestly though - it wasn't really in spite of. She obviously knows about it and is supportive of what I enjoy in life.

But it doesn't impede me from putting proverbial food on the table. Plus it is money that I earned anyway. Do what you want in life. Life is short. You should enjoy it.

By established lines of communication, I mean you need to be able to communicate with your SO. If you can't be open with each other then what is the point? This isn't carte blanc to slam them or put them down. But you need to be able to be open about your desires in life and communicate with each other about what is important to each other. And then be supportive of what they want in life.

If you don't think that is ever possible then you might have chosen the wrong mate.

Similar to what I've always thought..."Enjoy what you can, while you can" :p In most situations multiboxing isn't any sort of addiction, I know in Zin and Ebola's cases they can afford it(and me to a much lesser, but still applicable extent) it's just a multitasking hobby for fun and challenge ;p If you do have to make ... arrangements? To keep the hobby going I'd step back and reevaluate your priorities lol

But I digress, when did a wine/whine thread turn into a life discussion? :p Are those your wines Zin or just something you found with incredibly ironic meaning? :p

I took my example to the extreme, I do not have to choose between gaming and food, my argument was that I'm kept in line, otherwise I'm sure my house wouldn't be in the same state that it is currently in.

But I'm sure we'd all be a bit farther down our lists of wants if we didn't have that woman to step in and say "no, you don't need a computer in the shower" every once in a while. (which a computer in the shower would be really cool BTW)

and as far as the transition... i think it happened around the time I asked if Xzin was the winery owner, who happens to be female.

Eteocles

Ah interesting...imagine the outcry of people knowing not only did they get ganked/beaten by a multiboxer but a female one at that ;) (Just playing to the stereotype of "you got beat by a girl haha", I personally believe they can play just as well, hell DA has alot of girls in guild who're awesome players ;p)

A winemaker is not by default the owner.

And I am very much a male... as amazingly funny as that development would be.

I honestly couldn't think of the technical title for a winemaker, so I went with owner, but as far as the whole funny development...

Back in the days of Dark Ages of Camelot there was this "guy" named Mistwraith, played a ton and was a pvp god. Over time people started assuming it was a guy. One day we all got into vent for the first time only to find out that the person we had assumed was a guy for the past 3 years was in fact a female. It lead to mass chaos on our server. By far one of the best memories of that game.
