[WoW] Lucky Kara run

I wasn't attuned for Kara and heard Oathbreaker talking about going there to farm recipes and such so I figured what the hell. Spent yesterday getting attuned and took my 5 shamans there to just see how it would be killing some of the mobs and a boss or two. Killed the first boss pretty easily and when I looted it I was like wtf?!

This is a super rare drop! The main thing I was hoping to get from this place was the Formula: Enchant Weapon - Mongoose to try out on my Rogue team. I went ahead and went to the second boss (the one in the dining room area after the room of dancers) and killed that boss fairly easy and got my Mongoose enchant! These enchants alone go for about 500g on the auction house and I wasn't looking forward to have to spend 1000g each rogue!

Anyways, my investment in getting attuned for Kara paid off big time. I'm thinking about taking my pallies in there when they get 70 and gear them up a bit and see if I can get more mounts. who knows! Just had a great morning before work and wanted to share!

Wow Grats man! I farm ZG every reset for the mounts (got 1 raptor so far) and MC for the legendary bindings (but no luck lol), totally forgot about this one.

Just thunderstorm and drop magma totems. These fights were pretty easy.

gratz! I farm ZG and kara weekly, I've gotten 1 raptor and 1 tiger and 1 attument horse as well. I just farm first boss in Kara, takes about 15 minutes and worth it for a chance at the mount of course. Last got it back in Dec and hasn't dropped since though, the sucky thing is I gave it to my prot pally and I don't play her anymore :(

It seems the drop rate on BC enchanting recipes was greatly increased in a recent patch.
Time to hit up Outland to get all my recipes.

I did Attumen, Moroes, and Opera boss and got the Mongoose enchant I wanted for my feral druid and surefooted as a bonus in that single run - and it was fun too (no mount though) - so yes maybe the increased drop rate ?

Defenitely increased drop rate. I got every single enchant except surefooted (I skipped the mobs that drop them) in a single run...

yep , just pulled out all the enchants I was missing in a single run over the weekend (voting for upped drop-rate).

= less people running the instace

I don't think it is supposed to work with quotas where Kara has X drop per server per reset cycles and the first few instances get it - that wouldn't work and be abusable - so it's supposed to just be a % - less people running don't change - I think they probably swapped the nerf of the philantropist gold for some increased ench. rate.

I just got Mongoose, Surefooted x2, and Soulfrost. I dunno if I can do Aran, gonna go give him a shot and see. I'm almost willing to say the drop is 100% now since I got 2 surefooted.
