I was just curious, Keyclone seems like the BEST multiboxing tool, Unless you are Hardware boxing.
I tried HKN and clonedkeys, but they just dont seem to make the cut!

Why do people not use keyclone?

Some input please?

I guess it would all come down to personal opinion. Some people might not like how keyclone is set up or they just might not like it at all. Some people might not like the price tag on it, however low it might be. I wouldnt see that as much of an issue since they are paying to play more than one instance of wow if thats the game they are playing. The economy isnt helping people with their money problems as well. Its pretty much personal opinion. Some people might have started out with a different program and liked it from the get go so they figured why switch when I like what I have and it works.

Maybe cause they don't like Rob himself and therefore don't want to use his product.

I'm just kidding of course Rob, we all love you :P

I would have to say the bugs drew me away from Keyclone, mainly the sync issues in Vista when swapping PiP windows. While I am sure that will be fixed in the next version it isnt at this point (been awhile for any new release) so I moved on and tried IS/ISBoxer with great success.

Now Keyclone got me started with boxing in a way that was economical and easy to start and for that I am gracious :D

Hotkeynet (hkn) mouse broadcasting is MUCH better/faster (actually usable in game) than keyclone's

One you get used to it; hkn scripting is actually pretty powerful/very useful

HKN is free

So why would anyone use keyclone ;-) ?

ps: I do have a paid license for keyclone but I'm mostly using HKN now

I quit Keyclone for HKN originally because in spite of posts and a private message, I couldn't get any resolution on my issue. I respect that software authors have lives too, but that didn't help fix my FTL setup so I had to move on.

Once I tried HKN, I was happy to have been motivated to browse because it hooked me right away. It rocks! I'm a technical artist in my day job and HKN bears a resemblance to the tools game developers often find themselves using -- not particularly friendly-looking, but very high-powered and flexible once you get to know it. I know there's a new HKN in development and, provided Freddie retains its sense of sufficient power to take over a small country, it should only get better as it gets another layer of polish.

Well i know HKN is very powerful, but scripting seems like a pain/bore when you have

I looked a bit more at your posts and I think you are trolling actually ... I took the bait on this thread though but probably all of it could be deleted; though there are valid posts about HKN in there ...

Also it's interesting you praise keyclone here yet that on your MySpace you said:
"Bijan KeyClone. 20 USD. Worth a buy? Yeah. Except, i Pirated the latest version 7.32 seconds exactly after it was released. Im just too good.at 10:06 PM Mar 24 "

I'd vote you off the island but... it would probably be me instead...

that would be a viable claim.
if i had a myspace.
The only social networking site i was ever apart of, was Xanga, which i have long left as most of my friends went to myspace.

All the current features will be retained but the new version will be much more powerful and the script language will be more elegant -- it will be like a normal programming language. In a lot of ways it will be easier to use. I'm having fun creating it.
