Hello everyone I'm a new 5 boxer and just wondering how you guys handle LOS problems when multi boxing. So far my leveling adventure has been great and atm my toons are lvl 74. I was in Nexus last night and man Grand Magus Telestra really gave me a tough time. I wiped 5 times when I finally gave up. Her ability which causes everyone to swing around and then she drops everyone at random spots. When that happens obviously my toons are scattered all over the place and some turn around so I had lots of LOS problems. If I tried to manually turn everyone around and re-position I lost 5-6 seconds doing that and wasnt able to keep up with my heals cause she had this fire bomb aoe spell. If I ran around with my tank and spammed my auto follow button I managed to get everyone together but then again because we all grouped together her fire bombed owned my casters.
In general also when I pvp I run into LOS problems a lot, especially when I get sheeped or poly by someone. Any tips would be appreciated!

If your getting sheeped as a 5 boxer your slacking on using grounding totems (they abosorb sheep and most direct magic attacks)
The nexus fight is one of manny complex boxing fights but usualy i just hit follow and turn eveyone the same way by moving around.
For pvp i would also recomend specing improved range on earth bind totem and put the totem on round robin.. Voila you got a frost nova with long range but shorter freeze time. (If you specced the earth, fire, water talent in elemental) <-- not 100% sure if its the right talent name.
Dropping 5 fire nova totems or 1 TOW and 4 fire nova totems also buy you some time in pvp.
A killer combo vs meele is to either drop 5 magma totems and chain heal or to drop fire nova totem, shock the target and blow of 5 thundestorms. Watch out for spell imunities like rogues cloack of shadow and dk's anti magic shield.. 90% pops theese after 2 seconds so just be patient and wait them out. Then blow them apart!!

The nexus fight you can still use instant cast abilities. Paladin used exorcism, avengers shield etc. My druid followers all got off insect swarm and moonfire as well as heals. I just spammed that and she died before putting me back down. So hotkey up whatever your class can cast instantly and use that on her.

click to move and interact with target is your friend.
Look at the thread describing how to use it with melee guys. All you need to do is face your target with your main and click you assist button and all your toons turn around and run back to the mob.

There's much more to 5-boxing than 5-shammies, after all!
Maybe I should ask my girlfriend, but at least I rarely have any LOS issues

I just put Los on ignore. Pretty easy. :P
Seriously though... In regards to Nexus, it depends on how easy it is to turn all your toons around individually. Honestly, if you only lose about 5-6 seconds, that's actually not much time wasted given the mechanics of that fight. As long as your healer is able to keep healing during this time (can send heal commands from any window/machine), then the biggest problem is probably trying to make sure the healer is healing the right people while you're turning toons. Given that you have a 50% chance to land facing her again already, then you should only have 2-3 toons on average to have to re-face after each gravity well, and generally it doesn't matter which direction the healer is facing leaving you with a max of 4 people to aim.
Is it just that you are running out mana on the healer before you can finish her? I can see that being an issue if you lose too much DPS'ing time.

assuming you have a mele main like a pally and a set of spell casters...
move you main back to the boss and press your follow key immdiately use the back arrow or backup key.
this should face your characters toward your main and then stop them so they can start casting again.

One press on my "everybody assists focus" key, one press on my "everybody interacts with target", and everybody is running towards her, starting to beat her up, ready to cast. It makes the figth amazingly easy.
