Why I Hate World Events

Noblegarden. It's fun. The rewards are fun! I love my spring rabbit, and I love what they do when they find *another* srping rabbit. <evil grin>

But, as a MB, I got my first taste of severe QQing and hate and nasty tells, when I brought my team to a location for it.

"Im reporting you for taking our eggs!"

Wah, wah, wah.


*sigh*

Nobody is reporting the obvious botters, but my 3 toon team had to zone out.

Not bullied, I took a look at what is going on, and decided that it's not worth the abuse. I've had a pretty problem free time on my server, so it's more important to me to have a good rep, and not be the "Noblegarden MB guy". Tempers are high to boiling point already with people fighting over nodes.

I might run some of my guys through it later - I don't care about titles, but that Polymorph Rabbit is pretty damned sexy, for my mage. I like pets, too, so I might run each guy just enough to get one.

But today, I'm just gonna do another Strat run and get my team started in Hellfire - Outlands, I've missed you!

You know, I camped 6 eggs for four hours and didn't even look at my chat box, I was too busy clicking back and forth on my screens.

I wonder how much hate I was completely oblivious to...

As a general rule, I don't do event stuff on the first day, since most things tend to be overcamped by everyone else already. Only if there's something that has a small drop chance (hallowed helm or steed, for example) will I start on the first day. Was definitely easy storming the horde cities on the last day of the Elder event for the rep and coins, since nobody was around even working on that stuff anymore. Of all 6 of my toons, only my warlock died, and only in Orgrimmar.

Hunt your eggs in a couple days and people won't care as much.
