Hi,
I have an 80 warlock with a lot of badges, so I thought I'd try multiboxing. Is there a way for me to get an heirloom item to another new account I just bought? Would the new account need to be set up to WOTLK already?

Thanks

Just a thought, if you put the heirlooms on one character, and then paid-transfer that character to the new account what happens to the heirlooms.. or does the transfer just fail.

An heirloom item cannot be mailed off the account it is purchased on. Short answer: No. You cannot buy an heirloom on your main account and xfer it to a dual-boxed account, no matter if you're under one b.net account or not.

What if you mail it to the character you are starting and pay for the transfer to another account you own? Like crucial mentioned. (I've also never transferred a character between accounts, how does that work?)

Transferring a character with a heirloom item to a different account should work.

Since Blizzard announced that their original intent of Heirloom items was to allow transfer between owned characters (Cross accounts) but that they couldn't get it done in time for Lich King I'd personally hold off on loading up a toon with them and transferring that toon for cash...

WOTLK has been out for a little while now. If they implement transferring them between accounts, I don't think it will be for another 6 months with the next big patch. Thanks for your help though everyone

Transferring a character with a heirloom item to a different account DOES work.

I wish they would make battle.net more useful by allowing transfer of BoA items between battle.net accounts (freely; or maybe even at a nominal charge instead of $25 full char transfer - I don't have slots anyway) - I put that in the wow suggestion forums a few days back but got no support for it :-) [not enough mboxers there]
