.. with a Paladin and 4x Shamans?

i cant seem to beat it. i get to the last phase every time, but the combination of the ridiculous fire-beam-eyeball thing plus the mobs either kills me or Bran dies. my shamans have 15k HP and i keep fire resist aura up, 4x Healing Stream and i move as soon as i see beams shoot, even before i check where it lands. if it doesnt kill me, im still at 1/4 to 1/2 HP on that toon, plus getting flooded by mobs.

not sure if im doing something wrong. ive cleared just about every other heroic without much problem.. but this room is a nightmare ><

Well 15k isnt very high and it lowers the time you got to react..

Since you play tank+4 healers i would recomend hacoo's movie but keeping the dps up certainly will help.

This to remember to use:

Nature resistance totem helps alot but takes a slot of a grounding totem. (vs the casters that trow lightning bolts)
Fire resistance totem (takes the slot of a healing stream totem but it frees up shadow protection aura on your paladin)
Shadow Resistance AURA (Vs shadow word pain and that shadow cloud)
Dispell shadow word pain as it ticks for atleast 2000.
Earth elementals or Fire elementals.
Smart mana conserving.

But always remember one thing!

You do NOT need to kill all the mobs in order to complete the encouter, you just need to keep em off brann long enough and he will kill them. (Yes easier said then done)

First you need to kill the packs that comes quick enough, i always dropped atleast one chain lightning on each pack. I didnt go oom with random pulling and water shields...

Hacoo moves in one pack out of the fire beam, i was no way geared to do it that way so i had to spread my slaves out and move my slaves manually out of the firebeams.

I only used lesser healing waves and not chain heal, since im not a chain heal fan unless i take heavy aoe damage. I used a dedicated healer but i felt having doing this with 1 paladin and 4 ele shamans was abit better tbh..

You could consider getting the new stoneclaw totem glyph, dropping 4 stoneclaws will take ALOT of pressure of your tank and give your shamans a shield that absorbs around 8k damage. (not ideal for overall pve thought) With the new buffed earth elementals i cant see it as a problem to survive the last 2 phases either.. You could try fire elementals since they got fairly buffed aswell! :)

Another advices i can give you is to not waste your mana and keep the dps up! (aka dont chain heal when 1 slave is on 50% and the rest is full, and dont use chain lightning when there is one target)

There is no such thing as a Shadow Resistance totem...Anyway Jezebel keep at it, you'll get it down before you know it. and you HP is just fine.

Yes it just takes a lot of practice and a lot of patience. The first time I went to Heroic HoS it took me something like 10 tries in a row to finally beat the encounter, and I still lost 2 shamans at the end. Its IMO the toughest MB encounter in the game (at least in 5 mans). For me there were 2 major issues. One was remembering to keep dropping new grounding totems - especially near the end when the lightning bolt guys kept spawning. Two was remembering to actually pull aggro on the guys coming in at the end when I was running around like a madman trying not to get hit by lasers. The mages especially would keep killing Brann, I had to remember to go pick them up before he died.

Once the phase starts where the big fire beam hits the ground, you really have to stay mobile. Once the fire beam drops you can stop wherever you're at, as long as its not hitting you, and start pulling aggro and downing some guys, but then you need to start running again. If the big fire beam hits you for more than a second or two your shamans will probably die.

Keep practicing, it will work eventually. As Dominian said you can check out my Heroic HoS video in the sticky thread at the top of this forum, to see how I ended up beating it.

Work, little sleep and long posts do not fit together and i did ofc mean Shadow Resistance aura not totem wich was pretty clear if you actually read the line above. I didnt say its impossible with his hp but easier with big health pools...

ah well. at least, it seems, its actually a difficult room and im not just doing something glaringly wrong =P

i think ill just stick with emblem farming and try to get a couple thousand more HP on my shamans before i try it some more.
