Maximiser / UI question

Hi everyone. I've been working through the tutorials here, which have been extremely helpful and useful. However I'm after suggestions and advice on UIs. I set my screen (22" 1680 x 1050 panel) to split vertically (2 840 x 1050 regions), but the standard UI doesn't fit on screen. Do I need to change something in the interface or video control panels to resolve this, or do I need to abandon the default UI and create one? Or does anyone have a UI which will work in tis setup that I can blag?

look for an addon called bongos... that should allow you to move your button bars around so everything fits on the screen.

you could also play around with UI scaling within wow to see if that will bring in the bars (I haven't played with this problem in a long while.. and i cannot run the game from here)
