just got the x-keys pro USB, and I seem to be having some issues. I programmed a key sequence to each of the keys, nut when I go into wow, it doesn't recognize the device, or a particular part of the sequence.

For instance. One of the keys is set as ALT+O and when it is depressed, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes it just sends O and the social window comes up. Is there anyone that can send me an .mws file to load to see if it will actually work? I don't really care what the keys are bound to, as i will then use my interface bindings to set them as I want in game.

Also, do I have to put it into hardware mode?

I just picked up my second X-keys Pro, once you get it figured out you'll LOVE it.

Here's what I recommend:

Use the Hardware Mode programmer, as that way you can use it through a keyboard broadcaster if need be. If it didn't come on the CD that came with the device, you can easily download it from their website under the software section.

I find that Alt combinations are a little unreliable via USB so I tend to stay away from them. It's just as simple to set up using, say, CTRL-SHFT-A and so forth in addition to just CTRL-A and so on. You really don't have to use ALT at all.

Some folks here have found that USB is unreliable through a hardware caster, but honestly I have had few problems with my setup.

You have to use the split screen setup and program the top to be Keydown and the bottom window is keyup. Put the same combo, in the same order, in both windows with the exception of the Keyup/keydown symbol from the menu list.

And don't forget to save frequently. I wish they would also toss in a default profile to load so we don't have to load it every time.
