Mogulus just released a new program called procaster that practically makes it idiot proof and the quality is great . . . http://www.procaster.com/

Here is the channel I run, only have my guilds 25 man Ulduar Raid for the last few days so far. Once I upgrade my setup to i7 I will start streaming my multiboxing (running 5 client on one pc + broadcasting can be a bit laggy so i need the upgrade).

Ill try this out. how hardware intensive is it?I ran a full naxx 25 last night with no problems at all. There were spots where things felt a tiny bit sluggish but no lag I could attribute to this.

I just set up for broadcasting using this.

It works like a charm, except it only works once, and then never again. I installed ProCaster, brought up Keyclone, launched into Wow, broadcast was great, even at HD quality. Done with my session, exited.

When I bring up the wow client again, ProCaster does not recognize it as a direct-X app, and will not hook it.

I uninstalled, reinstalled ProCaster, launched ProCaster, brought up Keyclone and launched wow clients via keyclone, and voila, Procaster hooks in again and I can broadcast. However, upon exiting, and retrying, never again can Procaster recognize wow as a valid hookable game.

I've isolated the issue to Procaster and Keyclone interaction. If I launch clients from Keyclone, Procaster will not recognize them (well, it does the first time ever run, but never after that) . If I launch them manually, Procaster sees them fine.

The problem is that I make use of maximizer regions, so I'm fairly certain the clients have to be launched by Keyclone.

Anyone else using Procaster and Keyclone and able to get Procaster to regonize the wow client?

Okay, after posting, it occurred to me that it might be a UAC issue.

I quit Procaster and restarted it using "Run as administrator", and bang, it works just fine now with Keyclone.

Sometimes (such as this) Nercos are amusing. And shows that some people actually do use the search function.

/ontopic Fenril and I (and Vecter - yes, I saw you fail @ WG the other night) have been using Xfire to stream, I think I'm going to play around with procaster or just record via fraps some tonight.
