I run a PVE multibox team of Tankadin + 4 warlocks. I'm about to spec my warlock crew again thanks to the patch resets. Last time I raided on my warlock (solo) was at the start of Black Temple, I hear now that fire locks with imp is a pretty strong dps build?

So I'm wondering if something like: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IZcu0h0hZEbMqM0uVsAfst:z0bzV0 would be viable x4.
Standard Dps Rotation:
Cur x4, coa x2, coe, cow, Immolate x4, Imp on auto attack, conflag & Incerate spam, dot refresh?

Previoulsy I was running 20/51/0 x 4 on the locks.
Standard Dps Rotation:
Cur x4, coa x2, coe, cow, Immolate x4, Shdwbolt spam and dot refresh.
I also did some testing and went coa x3, +cow. I lost ~1k raid dps by doing this.
I keep cow for benefit to my tankadinand also for inc dps for the felguards
dps test on my trash macro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en8zOWgVi_0 <-- meta, immo aura, hellfire, felguards auto attack video on target dummy.

With multiboxing any affliction based spec will be pointless as the button mashing done whilst mboxing wont be able to keep dot refresh appliaction to get the dps outta that build. PVE Multiboxing
(78 Tankadin + 4 x (76) Warlocks
(78 Tankadin + 4 x (70) Shamans
All 4 x range teams created <20 atm

Have you tryed something like 0/41/30 ?

4 felguards (20% of ur total dps)-> 3 coa + 1 coe -> 4 corr(just to bring molten core up more oftenly) -> 4 imo -> spam incinerate

besides you`ll get a good spellpower boost friom demon talents.

just a sugestion, haven`t tryed boxing locks yet. 8)

off: Do u manage to cast 4 rain of fire? if u do, hows it done?

tks

You gonna swap in heals to run dugeons?

I also run a pally + 4 shaman team. When I get to the stage of having both teams lvld then yeah will look at some mixes/changes. On that note however I have cleared UK and The Nexus with the pal and lock team.

This.

After the big 3.1 patch I spent about 30 hours last week just to get my teams up and running again. The time was split between elitist jerks forums to research specs and rotations, writing new /click macros to optimize attacks, and time actually respeccing, playing on the test dummies, and reglyphing.

Then again, I run pallies, shaman, priests, druids, hunters, locks, a mage, and a warrior, so it took a LONG time. Hardly played at all, basically spent the week's play time resetting and optimizing.

Anyway, I ended up with the 41/30 spec on my locks. One of the top three specs DPS-wise since the patch, spell rotation relatively simple, and get to keep my favorite pet - Felguard charges/stuns sure are nice.

Oh, and optimized glyphs for that spec are Life Tap, Fel Guard, and Incinerate.

This is copied from another warlock thread.. I updated it for the new patch.

I am running a Dk/priest/3xWarlock team with my warlocks still running a a FG/Ember spec. FG/Ember is now listed as one of the best dps specs in the game for warlock and has actually improved in dps with the patch.

FG/Ember ('http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IZ0GchkAbibcGzZVbhqrzuV:oT00')

This gives you the felguards which are relentless killing machines. As
I stated before... when you are repositioning.. they are killing.. When
you are lifetapping.. they are killing. When you are turned around from
fear and need to be gathered up... they intercept and keep on killing.
When you are in town.. they are dreaming about killing. The zero hassle
pets do around 500 to 600dps each in my group. They can tank trash in a
pinch if somehow you are failing to hold aggro for whatever reason.
With the right buffs it scales up nicely. Felguards
also cleave and when you have three of them it starts to add up for the
trash packs.

Button 1:
/cast [target=focustarget, nochanneling] Curse of Agony (or elements on
one of them since you don't have a DK giving ebon plague)

Button 2:

/castsequence [target=focustarget, nochanneling] reset =10/target
Corruption, Immolate (when they go up in this order you can pretty much
cast them together as a pair when they drop.. they sync up nice)

Button 3:

/cast [target=focustarget, nochanneling] Incinerate

button 4:

/cast [target=focustarget, nochanneling] Soul Fire (for use in the decimate phase which can be tricky to pull off when multiboxing and the phase sometimes just doesn't last long enough for you to bother.. but hey it's there if needed)

For trash I just use the corruption, immolate and then spam incinerate
till they are dead. For Bosses CoA gets thrown on as well. Soul Fire can be weaved in during the decimate phase but I'm having a hard time remembering/bothering/ since things die too quick nowadays. The rotation is simple and easy with not too much to keep track of on your dots. Incinerate being on it's own and not being in a cast sequence is a few hundred dps increase over a castsequence with it spammed in.

I am very happy with this set up.
