Hey, Since Compusa is closing all of their stores im going on a shopping spree and make a brand new computer for 600 bucks.

I have this made out for the basics:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2ghz
8800 GTS OC
Intel Mobo (forgot which model but pretty decent)
2gb Corsair DDR2 Kit

I know that these are just basics but should i upgrade to 4gb (running Vista Ultimate).

I just plan on running 2 maybe 3 WoWs and boxing.... and was wondering if that should get at least 30fps on each...

What could i do to improve the machine or should it run fine?

Thanks,
Xy

You'll get at least 30fps on 2 clients with that setup

That should get a decent FPS with two or three clients, Any more and you'd have to move into the realms of Quad-core processing ;-)

If you do upgrade the RAM further make sure you get Vista 64 bit (doesn't matter if its home, Business or Ultimate, just that its 64-bit.)

Question: what's the price difference between the Core 2 Duo and a quad like the Q6600 or Q6800? I just bought my stuff last night for my new rig and my Q6600 was $260 or so.
