"Assault by ground" quest change?

I took a few weeks off of wow'ing (on-call work and family came into town), and went to do my round of dailies last night. I found that I couldn't share the quest assault by ground.

Anyone else noticed this or am I going crazy? The share button was grayed out. Since the guy starts walking as soon as you talk to him I didn't have a chance to grab the quest individually on my clones.

I think it's considered an escort. I've never even tried to share it, after the first time (he took off and I couldn't get it on my others). I just open it up on all 5, then hit accept on my DK and Jamba takes care of the rest.

Last I did the quest, its not an actual escort. Someone accepting the quest starts them off, and I THINK you can still get it from the questgiver, but the only thing you need to do to complete it is be in the area when enough soldiers make it through.

At least he was there =) A lot of times he never shows up for me....and sometimes there are two of them but don't give out the quest.

For me, I just interact with the NPC on all my toons and then accept from my main with all the windows open. I don't know why I never tried sharing the quest, just never bothered. With the interact keybind sharing is now a thing of the past IMO.

just manualy pick up the quest with everyone you should have about 15 seconds to do so! I know it works i did my dailies 2 hours ago! :)

Maybe it got re-fixed in this quick patch on tuesday.

I didn't share it, but there was enough time for each toon to click the npc.
