Howdy,
I dont know how many of you are multi-client gaming and how many are using a hardware solution.
For those of you doing a software solution, do you mind posting how many clients youre running and your system specs?
I am trying to decide how many clients I should pick up and I am not quite sure how many clients my system will handle (i was able to 5 box WoW). I can surely take it slowly and expand slowly but time lost sucks in Eve lol.
Just curious.

Q6600, 3gb RAM, Geforce 8600 512mb, Windows XP = at least 4 clients at 1024x768 with settings auto optimized for performance
I could probably run 6-8 clients but never tried.
My spare PC (Athlon XP 2600, 2GB RAM, 256 mb graphics) can barely run a single instance of the client since they removed the 'classic' version.

2.66 quad, 8 gig ram, Geforce 8800 GT 512 mb, Windows Vista 64, I typically run all 5 clients at 1600x1080 roughly..sometimes i'll chop the rez a bit so i can cascade the clients over both monitors but thats what im running fine without issues, using 2 24" monitors, It's kind of a pain that you can't shrink the windows smaller then 1024x768 like you could in wow, just drag the corner of the client and resize..but oh well. I don't find eve with max settings that hardware dependant..mind you I think my box has a bit of free horsepower, but still I've never yet ran into an issue where it was lagging bad, not like in WOW with 5 clients open.
I've never been to jita yet with my 5 accounts though so I can't say what it's really like to be in a super packed system, but in a normal area 50-100 ppl i dont notice any lag.

Looks like 6 is a no go on this laptop... i got them all logged in but as I was switching between them the textures got all weird so I doint know if the gfx card ran out of memory or what. 4 might be the magic number for me.
