Pally + 4 Elemental Shamans. Any tip on this fight? Too much damage taken from the summons and spike when he burrows. My shamans go oom chain-healing by the 2nd time he goes under. Is there a "safe" place to aviod the spikes?

How is your MP5 lower now then before 3.1?
It seems like you outgear me pretty much and things you could save lots of mana on:
1. Change a healing stream totem to cleansing totem, you eat tons of damage from thoose spiders who spits poison. (Nature resistance totem helps aswell)
2. Dont use chain lightning, your tank should be able to take care of thoose adds who have 2k hp.
TeamGrizzly:
Dont use chain heal when only 1 slave needs healing (use lesser healing wave and BIND a key for each shaman, do not use /assist tank.) This will make your healing fast and effective. Use a /cast [Target=name] Lesser healing wave <-- not 100% this is it i will correct it if its wrong when i come home from work.
Chain heal got a nerf in 3.1 from what certain people say and it actually feels that way when i use it aswell!
Here is how i did it but with a dedicated healer thought:
http://www.wegame.com/watch/AzjolNerubHeroicMultiboxed/
Keys to victory:
Cleansing totem for the 3rd and 4th wave. (Theese are the hard waves and i cant stress cleansing totem enough) Preferd setup is 3 healing stream and 1 cleansing
Nature resistance totem (everything helps)
Avenging Wrath(well the aoe who stuns undead) on your paladin is simply a AWSOME spell vs the spiders that spit (since theyr undead) I usualy lock them up with Avenging Wrath,Hammer of justice and a aoe silence with my belf.
Dropp earth elementals in the last phase, yes it helps and it actually helps ALOT. (earth elementals eat the poison spits but are immune to nature damage)
Focus on the spitting spiders theese are the real treath.
Stay away from using chain heal and chain lightning, only part i recomend chain lightning is in the 3rd and 4th wave when the spiders stack up and you need fast kills.
Another key part is to refresh your totems often, mainly due to all the adds that target them first and destroy them. If my cleansing totem aint up when its suposed to it gets REALY though!

since mana totems don't stack drop 3 healing streams and one mana.
the healing streams still stack and learn to strafe left & right when you see the ground rumble under your team.

Hi,
the MP5 and spirit change lowered my regen alot !! I'm gearded with random leather ant Cloth gear from naxxramas whose are not MP5 but Spirit.. It takes a lot of time to gear my clones because I can't take'em all the time to naxx25, and because sometimes loot is awarded to other ppl (I've just received my second Shoulder token.. two more to go) so I'll change some of my crapGems to some +dmg/+3MP5 to increase the mana regen.
I'll also drop a mana totem along with a cleansing totem and two healing strem totem.. I'm considering switching two chars to a hybrid template like this one : http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#hEh0qcdItMc0IZZx0tucx to increase the healing tick of the healing strem totem with the glyph (I've tried with my main chaman which provide 320++ heal per tick w/o glyph (with glyph, an additional 64 hp))

I setup very similar to the way that Hachoo's videos show (spread shaman out in a line along the back wall). If only one of them gets spiked at a time the burrow phases become fairly trivial (single target lesser healing wave will top off any of the sham that need it).
Others have pointed out some good pointers as well - my quick bullet point list would be:
- spread your ranged dps out on the wall and make sure they are a couple yds apart so only one gets spiked at a time
- use nature resist totem
- use cleansing totem + 3 healing stream totems
- Don't chain-heal unless you've got multiple sham down below 50%
- grounding and magma totems are your friend during the phases with the venom spitters.
- pop bloodlust right as he's about to comeback up after the first burrow

While I have not done this encounter on Heroic, I did just finish it this morning on normal. My first attempt was a wipe because of the spike damage. However on attempt two, it was a trivial encounter like Hungerfen. All I did was DPS when he was up, when he was buried, I just walked backwards with everyone on follow killing the adds. As long as I was moving, no spike damage. Killing the adds that were casters were more of a problem than anything else as they would just stand there and cast while I was moving. But 8 DOT's took care of them.
This is exactly how I killed Hungerfen. Just walk backwards and DOT and beat on him with the paladin.

Turn undead on one of the spitters works wonders.

Just wanted to throw my tips in here for mixed groups.
I parked my guys on the left wall just as you enter, spacing my guys out about 10 yards so that only one person gets spiked at a time. You won't pull the boss until you get nearly within melee range, so don't be afraid to walk onto the platform and take time setting up. Put your most resilient alt closest to the ramp you came down to be able to take a couple hits if you don't pick up an add right away (for me, shaman or boomkin). I don't park too far from the door so that my tank doesn't have much running to do to pick up adds (your taunts my still be on cooldown when adds start appearing faster on later phases).
If you have a shaman, definitely use nature resist and cleasning totems, as already suggested. If you park along the wall, just turn the shammy when casting totems so that they are all piled up on the wall behind the team and you don't have to worry about any of them getting agg by new adds.
Be sure to avoid the Pound attack by Anub'Arak. You just need to move off to the side a little, as it is just a forward cone attack, and not a full frontal attack, and make sure he's either not pointed at the rest of the group at all times, or kept at a safe distance that it will not reach them (only like a 10-15 yard range). He's seems to have a tendency to use Pound very quickly after coming back up from underground, watch for it. Other than that, his insect swarm ability will do some damage to the group, but it's a rather weak attack to begin with and won't kill anyone by itself.
As adds appear, obviously give priority to the elites, but keep whatever taunts you need on the non-elites as well. With pali tank, I just keep popping a consecrate in front of the group and then move to pull the elites when they arrive. The consecrate pulls agg from most of the non-elites that appear.
I also just eat the spikes and throw a Greater Heal at them once they land. Obviously try to avoid the spikes with the tank. Ironically, its the tank that takes the least damage on this fight for me. Anub hardly hurts him (avoiding Pound); it's the adds that will really test you. If you can keep everything on the tank and remove poison very quickly, then mana on the healer shouldn't be too much of an issue. If mana is your biggest pain point, you might want to just gear up elsewhere a bit more first to bump up your +hit/spellpower/mp5.
