How do you deal with Ice Tomb in a mixed group? My tank keeps getting it and I it's a wipe every time >:( My group it Resto Shaman, 2 Balance Druids, Mage, and Protadin.

At the start of all my dps macros I have.
/assist sbjones <-- my tank
/target Frost Tomb
/rest of dps macro

They will pew pew what I have targeted but if a frost tomb pops they will target it and kill it then go back to pew pew the boss. You will need this for more dungeons than UK.

What Starbuck said but if you use a target= macro for dpsing just add in something like this

/target Frost Tomb
/castsequence [target=target,harm] spell, spell [target=focustarget,harm] spell, spell

I'm not sure if a [target=Frost Tomb] will work but its worth a shot if you want to keep your target clear.

I'm getting closer to downing him. I'm only level 67 with 5x druids so I end up running out of mana at 20-30% even when using 5 innervates. It goes smooth until I don't have any mana left to get the tank out of a frost tomb. Hopefully I'll be able to do it at level 68.

UK is not easy. I was not able to finish it till level 75/76. I have a few posts in this thread that hold my frustration.

That macro was a life saver! It still took three more tries but I finally got him down :D Alas no dagger but at least I know I can kill him now. Tyvm good sir!

hats off if you can do UK at 68 - when I last tried my team was 72 and I couldn't kill that boss (I need to try with the frost tomb macro though...)

UK @ 68 is pretty freakin leet.

My Pally & Shaman crew managed at 70....JUST.

The way I handled the first boss, especially with the shammies, was to keep them on follow, right on the tanks butt.
That way it makes sure that Ice tomb and the summoned adds, all cop damage from aoe's like consecrate or chain Lightning.
Generally, the damage taken from Ice tomb is almost negligible. If I was unlucky, and the tank copped it, I would just have the shaman nuke it.

Which, to be honest, is my method with that boss. Nuke Nuke.

My lock crew on the other hand really, really struggled on this boss.

I actually farmed that boss for a whole level to get the spell blades on each of the shams...71-72. From the door to the first boss is the most XP beneficial area of the instance and I could clear it in 15-17 minutes. Was a fast way to burn a level that I really was struggling for motivation for. That spell blade has a terribly low drop rate.

I don't even have a frost tomb targetting macro and it was easy on heroic.yeah I never worry about the tombs only the adds, I have a castsequence macro on the shammies that does alternating thunderstorms to take care of them and they're never an issue at all now as the boss is usually down after the second wave.

If you have good non target aoe then not targeting the frost tombs will prolly work. But I found that consecration alone was not enough to break the tomb in a timely manner and thus the macro.
