Hello fellow multiboxers!
Dont think this have been posted before so ill make a shoot
Some time ago i bumped into another player at my server multiboxing, i was happy ofc and we started sharing macros and info right away /buddies ftw. Im almost positive that we all have a boxer on almost every server that we simply just dodge by pure chance and we never get to meet, so here is my idea..
How bout we all create a chat channel on our respective servers and post what the channel name and server is in this thread?
Template would be something like this :
Server :
Faction :
Channel name :
Name of the character :
(boxing main)
I myself will create a channel as soon as i get home from work and post the info here.
I will altso (if people find this usefull) keep this post uppdated

Something like this might be easier to maintain via the wiki, and then have a sticky link to it.

Why not just pick a channel name and use it on every server, similar to the 'bookclub' channel for the Higher Learning achievement books? Something simple like 'mbox'. No need to maintain a list and you can just /join mbox on any server to see if anyone else is in it :)

Hmm yeah that would be an option but the channel name might be in use on some servers.
So maby a stickie on one or two "set" channel names that boxers would use worldwide could be a gods option?
Altso I got another idea aswell. How bout we make a wiki topic where all realms (eu and us seperate ofc) are listed and people can list their name on what server they play on?
Even though everybody have it listed in their signature, it would be much nicer to see the actual list. Is this much work to get up and running on the wiki?

I think if you put it the same on every server it would be cool, but then again you'd get the Fanboi's or the Flamers that learn about it and just hop on and totally ruin the whole use for it.

That thread should be deleted, or at least changed to point to the wiki page: http://www.dual-boxing.com/mediawiki/index.php/Who_%26_Where_Wiki

Ah there is a who and where thread on the wiki. Nice =)
Non the less, the thread was originaly about the ingame chat. And as mentioned above, fanbois/haters might ruin it if they learn what channel is in use.
I still think its a good idea though.

...as far as i know im the ONLY boxer on bloodhoof EU :( have searched evrywhere for others ... but im alllll alone :(Not any more! Although I am just starting my wobbly way through getting 2 accounts set up to dual box (I hope that doesn't make me any 'less' of a boxer), they are on Bloodhoof as the rest of my chars are. Maybe I can pick your brains sometime about it... ;) Most of my chars have ~thistle at the end of em, so not easy to miss I hope.
