Managed to get WoW running at 3479x2647. Framerate was about 5 fps average - spanned all 6 (mostly 3) 30" screens on 8800GTX video cards. I had more space but was unable to actually get WoW to go any further - it refused to do so.

Not sure how this is useful or not - but needed to do something to stop the madness of these last few tweaks and issues that I am working on before I can actually start leveling.

CPU use stayed under 30% :) Gogo multiple cores.

Oh wait.....WoW is a single core game..... hmm....

Photobucket caps uploads sizes :) The UI seems to scale the icons up (otherwise they would be so small they would be unuseable).

You don't actually get any extra play area though - you have the same "viewport" if you will - and of course players/mobs from far away will fade in once they get into your detection radii - and not before.

To actually GET extra view space - take a look at this link:

You have to "zoom out" by changing the camera view. You can see literally half of WSG with a setup like that :)

And since players in instanced PvP are always in view.... it could make it VERY easy to see all or nearly all of WSG (from a distance). You can change the settings via hot keys too.
