Just looking for some opinions as to which case for my new build, I was looking at the Thermaltake Armor 8000 full tower, The Antec 1200 full tower, or the HAF 932, I know I need a case with alot of cooling for my i7, The thermaltake is looking good, the antec seems a but thin width wise, and I really don't like the red fan on the HAF, I need a case to accomadate an i7 on an evga board, the evga gtx285, a corsair 1000w, and a Nocturna cpu cooler, anyone have any suggestions?

You can mount like 20 fans in this sucker. I have one that I'm no longer using, since moving to the rank mount setup.

That is a nice case, but I was looking more at a full tower case to give me more room to work in. Thanks though I will keep it in mind, I am trying to buy my case before the end of the day 8)

I have the Antec 1200 with the i7 prosessor. It will move the air awesome! I love the case.

I five box on one machine and it works great.

Good looks and great air flow. you can add two more fans for a total of 7!

I also have a Antec 900 and a 902. Love em all!

With your antec are you using an aftermarket cpu cooler? the Antecs didnt look very wide and most i7 coolers are huge.

Yeah i'm leaning towards the HAF but I hate that red fan. I figured I could replace it with a blue but can't find any 230mm blue fans, do you think a 250mm would fit?

Silverstone TJ07's are damn sexy looking and understated cases. Good for aircooling or water cooling set-ups. A bit expensive though

Using an Antec 1200 and they are OK too. Although I like my Antec 900 better and will probably sell the 1200 and go back to using the 900's as my primary rig and back-up to the primary....unless I go crazy and get a couple Silverstone TJ07's.

For my alternate boxes, I use Silverstone ITX/DTX Sugo SG05 cases

have 7 of those cases just sitting around, haven't gotten to trasferring the hardware from the old ITX case to em yet. Should be much much better cooling.

I'm using the Coolermaster 832 Stacker case here ('http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-108-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29') this baby has room for 7x 120mm fans (4 in a door tray that totally cover the mobo area). there is loads of room in this case to work with the full length GTX cards (unlike some of the Antec cases I have worked with in the past). this is will also take the Enermax galaxy PSU with ease which is a monster in itself (being nearly twice the size of a standard psu)

Thanks everyone for the input! In the end I bought the Antec 1200. As all of the cases mentioned above had great air flow and function I decided to go with the Antec for looks. :)

I have a similar setup to yours Enndoh - i7 (stock cooling fan), GTX 285, etc. The Antec 902 fits everything very well, so the 1200 should be more than enough. I only ran into two small problems.

1) I had to remove the interior mid fan enclosure to accomodate the video card - not a big deal. The airflow is already excellent.
2) There wasn't much room for the rats nest of power cables that came with the power supply. It looks like the 1200 is taller and has more room. You should be fine there.

Enjoy the new setup!

I just love my Antec 900.

Who needs water cooling when you have this much air flow.
everything is cooler by some 30C from my old gateway manufactures case.

you really can't go wrong with this case, I'm sure an Antec 1200 is nice but it would probably just be too large for me personally.
