Hi there

I'm new to multi-boxing so forgive me if im asking a daft question.

I am trying to run two accounts on my main machine with a keyclone application.

I initially set it up so that wasd and the arrow keys wouldnt' broadcast as per some of the threads on this forum.

When I tried to play my chars I found that any tells I sent from one char to a mate was duplicated by my second charater so he received two identical tells. At times, the tell from my main was fine, but the tell received from my second character was doubling and trippling the letters somethign like this:

Tell from main 'hi there'
Tell from second char (which shouldnt have been sending a tell) hhhiii ttthhheeerrrree

Also, if I typed /camp on my main, the second char automatically camped. Likewise with all other commands.

As I really only need to send the keys 1, 2, 3, 4 .... -, = (the top set of keys on the keyboard) then I thought that setting up a white list instead might solve the problem of things being passed that I didnt want.

I set up the white list with these keys only, but my main character was still sending /camp to the second account nad they were both still sending identical tells.

I have tried setting up the white list, tried clearing it and setting up a 'do not 'pass' and nothing seems to stop the double tells, double instructions. It feels like my do not pass and whitelist arn't working as they should.

I have probably missed a simple setting, but as it is, I can't play them like this. I've seen some talk of server and client accounts, do I need to set up my main char differently?

Just wanted to check, both accounts are using the one keyclone on the same machine. I don't think I need to buy two keyclones for running two accounts on one machine?

Please can someone give me an idea as to how to solve this?

thanks in advance.

click setup, click do not pass.

click the box that says click here to enter keys, then punch in A-Z, Shift+A-Z, and any other keys which you do not being sent to your 2nd window of wow.

basicly go thru and hit any keys which you do not want being sent to your 2nd window (every keys bar the keys you press to controll the 2nd wow) and your good.

i think the white list option does the oposite, so you just put in the keys you do want to pass.

Thanks so much, that worked. I had only been putting in a few keys and so I guess the others were overriding it. Once I put in every key on the keyboard including return, space etc and just left the top row out, it is doing what I want.

Really appreciate your help.

Whitelisting 1-0+ - and = should have accomplished the same thing and saved you 90 some keys.
