How do you spread them out?

I see this all the time in Multi-Boxer videos, but I can't figure it out. How do you get the toons to spread out in a nice neat little circle, or come back behind you and spread out in a line and such?

Boggles my mind.

Fake edit: Actually I probably wouldn't flame you, I never flame anybody, but this is nearly at the top of the Macros/Addons forum and is asked probably daily.

Problem was I didn't really know how to word it. "Spread your toons" didn't work, lol.
