Why have you removed the moderation/thread lock poll ? It wasn't inflamatory (I think); had no mention of sam, etc... so why ?
Who did that (if I knew I could private msg to ask but whoever did it didn't bother) ?
At minimum you could leave some msg explaining why, no ?
or you didn't like the results ? or this board is "as is" and we can't possibly have a community discussion on how it works or if changes would be beneficial ? why not ?

Please stop trying to instigate anti-mod sentiments. If this is NOT your intention, then take this as me explaining to you that what you're doing is being perceived as "stirring up anti mod sentiment. Please stop.
I was not the person who removed your thread, but I fully support the thread being locked and removed.
If you have a concern for how a situation is handled PLEASE contact a mod, don't start flamebait posts. If you don't like mods PLEASE come to me and I'll be more than happy to hear your concerns and give you reasons why an action was taken. If you don't like me, PLEASE talk to Ellay. It's my understanding he's currently out of pocket so responses may be slow until he returns, but talk to someone, don't just post such as you did.

can someone not percieved as "anti mod" - a moderator for instance - then restart said poll; I propose the following choice
Preface: moderation is a thankless job, we are or should all be thankful for the work done, even if/when we don't like the outcome. This isn't an "attack" on moderators; but a poll to figure out how the member community perceives the moderation - even if 99% of people would say "there isn't enough" or "there is too much" there is no guarantee that anything would change because it's Ellay's house anyway but maybe the input can be valuable - also for members to see how the spectrum of perceptions is :
Moderation in general
* I think the moderation is done just right
* I think the moderation is heavy handed (feel free to reword if that's 'offsensive')
* I think there isn't enough moderation
* I'm glad I don't see ton of crap so I suppose it's done right but can't comment on it as I don't see the "raw" original sewage (I guess that's same as "done just right" or maybe "I don't know")
Threadlock in particular
* I think threadlocking should be avoided - if a couple people drag on a thread endlessly give those people a warning or indicate in the thread what specifically needs to stop but not the whole thread (ok that's longish, need to find a short version : "we shouldn't need threadlocking except extreme circumstances" ?
* I think more threads should be locked; faster
* I think thread locking is used just right

Please do not restart this poll. As stated before, if you have concerns with the moderation style, please talk to a mod / admin.

There are only a few people in this community that seem obsessive-compulsive about things. I think most of the community is not affected by moderation because most of the community are here to learn and share experiences about multiboxing. Go play warcraft.
