Hi im new for Jamba.

I cant get my slave to attact the same target as me.
Slave have set Focus on me and follow me.

I have set up Target 1 As Star, and when i do that i say
/targetexact #MOB#
/cast Sinister Strike
/targetlasttarget

And the i Attack the mobe, but my slave is just looking at me...

What do i do wrong.....

If your slave has you set as the focus, I think what you want instead is something like:

/assist [target=focus]
/cast Sinister Strike
/targetlasttarget

Macros do not support variables (scripts do, however), so you can't do anything like "#MOB#". If you know the exact name of the mob, you can type it into the macro, but then the macro would only be good for that exact mob, and you'd need a ton of macros. Handy for very special encounters, though.

I haven't gone as far to set up jamba to do attacks off the Marking ability yet.

But I see that you have targetlasttarget . Which means your slave is looking for your last target not your current one.? maybe?!

I would set up
/assist [target=focus, exists]
/cast Sinister

Now granted I'm a newb and still learning myself. So take what I have to add as a grain of salt. For a good example on my newbness --/targetexact #MOB#<--- this makes no sense to me =)

But the above macro works great for my 4 shammys.

Any reason why

/cast [target=focustarget,exists,harm] Sinister Strike
doesn't work for you?

I'm with Allestaria in that I haven't used Jamba to assist in targetting with my group. Perhaps someone else who has played with that can give you some better assistance. :)

I'm a simplist....

/assist Arvault
/cast whatever

It means that the slaves will always try to kill whatever the tank has targetted. It has it's ups and downs to it, but has worked fine for me. I simply can't have the slaves kill something other than what the tank is targetting, but I can work around it by having the tank target a ranged mob while simply keeping his defenses up while melees pound on him.

I have tryed the 2 last macro, and cant get it to work.

my question is

Master
What Macro code do he have to have !?
And do he have to focus on the target or just mark it with a Star !?

Slave
Is the chart that need the macro code right !?
And he have to /Jamba setfocus on the master from the begining right !?

I honestly do not understand how (after reading any of the manuals provided by community) you can still fail but i'll try to help you

Very basic example for shamans:

Master:
#Showtooltip
/cast Lightning bolt

Slaves
#showtooltip
/assist focus
/cast Lightning bolt

it WILL work if
1) your toons are in the same group
2) all your slaves have master as focus
3) The facing/range/not silenced etc... do not prevent to use the said ability

You do have them in a group right? A lot of this will not work unless your toons are all grouped first. Make sure that you’re Master and Slaves are all in the same group then try these macros again. Also to use 'focus' based macro's you will first need to set your Master as focus on each of your Slaves.

Jamba requires some configuration in order to work properly, have you configured your group in Jamba yet?

Just a few suggestions, if all this is done then there’s no reason why a focus or assist based macro should not work for you.

Edit: Sorry Ivan, didn't catch the bottom of your post, looks like you had the same idea.

Yes i have a group
on the players, the Team is Player 1 and 2 both are checked and the Player 1 is master.

Im trying this with a priest and a rouge. on one PC with two accounts
but im getting a error now.....

Master "Priest" Jamba Target setup macro i have
/cast Sinister Strike

Slave "Rouge" Jamba Target setup macro i have
/cleartarget
/cast [targer=focustarget,harm,nodead] Sinister Strike

When i then Mark a moob with raid icons and attack it with my priest i can see that i get this in the chat consol
/cast Sinister Strike
You feel normal
SlavePlayerName: Focus Target is now (currently ?)

And my slave chat consol look like this
/cleartarget
/cast [target=focustarget,harm,nodead] Sinister Strike
You fell normal
Jamba: 'focus' - unknown argument
