team make up question

hi all, an just wanted to say thanks for all the great information from this website it has helped tremendously. I am currently boxing 4x shamans sanza,sanzab,sanzac, and sanzad on moonrunner-horde side. My two questions are im thinking of rerolling over to the alliance side after i finish with the shamans and was wondering would a 3x mage or warlock holy priest combo do as well as a 4x shaman combo? i mainly pve and do some bg's and wg now an then. the second question is im familiar with how raf works and the process, but just to make sure blizzard hasnt removed boosting or made it illegal to do correct? i thought i read something some where about it.

There has been alot of success with Priestx3 caster combo. You still have a that 5th spot for a tank if you want to do instances so its a great set up. I tried both priest with warlocks and priest with mages. Personally i preferred the Priest and Mage combo. Was nice just aoe grinding and ports/food/water helped alot.

Ya i have a buddy that tanks for me, my only worry with the 3xmage priest is i guess the lack of overall healing that i get with the x4 shamans some of the aoe bosses the 4x chain heals are what save me, not sure if a holy priests aoe or single target heals would balance it out. any input would be most helpful.
