Question - RAF XP Bonus and questing vs. Instances (No Boosting)

Ok, so I am moving to Mag and starting to play Horde. I have always played alliance, so I won't have any toons to boost me. My question is, with 4 new accounts on RAF with the XP bonus, which way will be faster to 60, questing or pure instances?

I know that I will get ganked less in the instances, but will it be as fast leveling? I intend to loot to make sure that I have gold for mounts and such, so I know that the instances will take pug times and not be a 4 time an hour thing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Questing is always faster than instance grinding with few exceptions. Boosting and after 60 if you have rested.

Hey TheGreek, I moved to Mag horde from Stormreaver Alliance almost 6 months ago. Here's what I did: Mixed class team to 80 doing quests (no instances) with a prot pally as lead and a hunter somewhere in the team.

Get Figurine of the Colossus from the last boss in regular Hellfire Pen level 80 dungeon (wow, I forget the name now). You may be able to skip this step now since they've changed up pallies a bit in the WotLK patches, but the trinket can help with getting a full health bar back while boosting.

Anyway, take your hunter and tow around 4 RAF toons with aspect of the pack on killing everything for all the quests in the starting blood elf zones. Should be 21+ by the end of that in an hour or 2. Switch from hunter to pally and go to SM cath and pull the whole thing in one pull. Repeat till level 45 (though 40-45 are pretty slow). Then take the party to Strat and enter through the service gate. Pull the undead side with your pally and kill everything. Repeat till toons are 59.99. Grant two to 60.99.

Repeat this whole process for four more toons. Repeat it for another four to level 40 or so. Repeat again for another four to 25 or so. Use up all your RAF grant levels strategically. Benefit with 4-6 teams of five at level 60/61 that you can level through Outlands and Northrend at your leisure.

Oh, then solo Naxx ;-p Fun time!
