I searched high and low for an answer to this but couldn't find my answer (awaits link to a thread that has probably been sitting in front of my face this whole time.)

Anywhoooo.... I'm dual-boxing a hunter and a priest using Jamba. Everything seems to be working great with the one exception of getting quests to work correctly. Whenever my master talks to a quest giver, he accepts the quest. I get a whisper from my slave saying that she accepted it too, but when I alt-tab over to her, she doesn't have the quest. The same is true for turning in quests. With or without rewards, I receive a reply saying that I turned said quest in but alt-tabbing over I find that my slave hasn't even talked to the quest giver.

I have most of the questing options checked, even the one that tells the slave to take the same reward as the master (I have pretty much twinked out gear for my master so it's irrelevant for him).

Is this something that needs to be done via a /Jamba macro like I do my following (/Jamba-follow master all) or is something gone awry?

Thanks in advance.

I get that message also for some reason, and just ignore it.

Are you making sure you interact/open chat with the quest giver _first_ on the slave, and then do you dialog interactions on the master? If the slave doesn't already have the quest giver's window open then they can't follow along because there will be nothing on screen for them to pick from.

Ahhh, did not know that. That would be my problem.

Is there a macro you can create that will auto-talk to the same NPC the master is?

no way around it that I know of. You need to use a program like keyclone or hotkeynet that will let you mouse clone. You can do this with a screen lowered but I play with main then my slave is windowed on main screen so I can see where Im clicking on slave it helps then once quest is up on slave I just go through normally using main and jamba.

Just click it manually until next wow-patch when they are adding a keybind for interact with target.

This is why a lot of us use mouseclick broadcasting. Hold the broadcast key, right-click the NPC and they all click and open the dialogs. Then jamba takes care of the rest. Pretty slick, though maybe not worth the extra effort to set up for just 2-boxing.
