ummm ... you have to be saturating your video busses, you are using the onboard video and two video cards on the pcie buss. There is no way you can move all that data back and forth. YOu are asking your processor to do 3X the work of what mine does for 6 wows ...
This set up is not resonable. YOu need a better plan, in my opinion, but others might have better ideas.
9800 is a strong video card but your computer is just not able to get the information to the 3 places in time.
Make another similar computer, take the 9800 out of your current and move to it. Have 2 computers running 4 wows, and dont use the onboard video.

I agree with the other two about you are just asking for too much bandwidth from main memory.
I would never make another monster machine because of this.
each video card has shared main memory and the worst card for this would be anything "onboard" video.
but if you really want to try this setup try setting all of your game video options to minimum and maybe reduce screen resolutions.
I was having problems with 3 copies of wow taking down my machine with the video set at maximum, each copy of wow was using 1.4G of ram (all max settings) , they use closer to 600-700M each now.
ps: I use the 8800 to run two copes of wow on one monitor, no problems at all.
well i use the 2 9800s now main screen is on 1st card and other 2 screens are on the 2nd card works ok all pre bc is 15fps capped same with bc and for wrath its 10 in towns 15 in open areas

I'm assuming Vista 64, and not the 32 bit?

Im running into a similar problem I have a Gf8600. If I run all 5 accounts on the same monitor everything is fine and playable, even in Dalaran. Outside dalaran im anywhere from 30-60fps on all 5 windows. Dalaran it drops to 10-20ish.
Screen real estate is small, so I attached a second monitor to put the 4 slave accounts on and WAM! Everything drops to 5fps. Maybe 15 if im lucky. And it does this even if I have just 2 accounts going. One on each screen. I put in a second video card. A Gf7900, hooked the second monitor to it, and it did the exact same thing, so I dont beleive its a hardware bottleneck.
I havent tested it yet, but the only advice I was able to find to fix this was to set the displays into a 'stretch' mode. or extended desktop useing the Nvidia control pannel. Not the windows display controler. Its the goofy one where if you maximize a window it will streatch across both displays so its acting like one large one. Main reason I havent tried it, is that my monitors use different resolutions and that mode forces both to the same rez so it looked all funny, not useing the native resolution.
It might solve your issue.

i seem to remember a post a while back regarding this.. it has to do with how DirectX handles the cards (it takes the primary card and assigns all resources to that).
there is some weird way you can get it to work but it involves changing primaries and secondaries when loading wow.
(i had this issue and found it was easier to get a new machine for the second card (GTX260)- my 4 instances on the second machine run at 60 fps each)
hey you could always buy a Mac as it uses OpenGL, so it doesn't suffer from this problem 8o
