Good minimap addons?

I'm trying to figure out how to easily see tracking for both Mining (on my main) and Herbs (on an alt). Because my alt is sharing a screen with three other alts, the minimap is tiny and hard to notice yellow dots on. I've tried Carbonite, which lets me make the minimap bigger, but for some reason it keeps all the tracking dots the same tiny size. Is there anything out there that will help make those dots larger/more noticable?

I use simpleMinmap.

I use simplemap and minimap button frame (this thing takes all the cluttering minimap buttons and puts them in a open and closeable box)

If you have an issue with Finding stuff you should get gatherer and get the wowheadDB http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/gatherer-database.aspx for it and then you dont even need to click find min or herbs.
