With my MB group. I am a constant restarter. Originally had Pally + 4 Shammys up to 20, but then switched on out with a druid. At 27 now and I pretty much have just ran instances since questing is boring with total decimation.

Originally my Pally was doing no damage since all mobs died on impact. Once I got into RFC, WC and SFK the Pally started doing major damage and leads the group by a 2-1 margin. Is this common early on? So far, underwhelmed with the Druid. I always have buys remorse when doing this kinda stuff, but I am waiting til he becomes a moonkin to reserve judgement.

How do people make their healing macros? Basically, I got two buttons to press for my alts, DPS and Heal. Heal is just a stopcast and heal. Often overheals. I am wondering if I should put some cast sequences in there to only make 2 or 3 guys heal while the other 1 or two still cast their spells. kinda in a rotation or something like that. I don't want to have to micro-heal.

How do people usually use their totems? I got 3 now and I figure 2 Healing stream and 1 mana stream. That coupled with blessing of wisdom should be enough. Any other adive is welcome.

In lower instances you can do a couple of different options.

Have paladin heal himself and shams just continue to dps.
Have one shaman just have a /stopcasting /cast [target=focustargettarget] type setup
or just have all your shaman throw a heal on pally.

I'd go with one of the first 2 though that way your dps doesnt stop.

i personally use Ken's old shaman heal macros.

Hmm, I think I might have just 2 shamans with the stop casting.

I still have to figure out how to get the boys facing all the same way, especially when a mob rushes right in.

i noticed that too with my lock and mages always doing about half the total damage of the paly but doing more dps. this is likely do to consecrate.

Usually i will park my shamans and pull a section to them. Are you just using /follow and keeping them on follow the whole instance?

In dark ages i loved the /face and /stick commands... to bad wow wont put something like that in.

The problem is patience and latency. I can park my alts, but it requires stopping, moving them an inch and then charging in. Most of the time I just want to go on the fly.

I'd love for the follow to break as soon as I assist. Maybe Blizzard should put an option in like /assist [target=wolpak] range/melee which means that they will stop in their spot if you choose range and they will continue forward if you have melee.

I think using attack will do what you want. Get in range for pally, hit attack, other four will give error/break follow
