Hey All,
I started wow in the beginning and quit just before burning crusade came out, I then picked it up again about six months later - but now haven't played WOW since about mid last year.
I used to have 5 x 70 Belfs (Paladin, Mage, S Priest, H Priest, Warlock) started getting a few heroic badges, and I had 5 shaman about lvl 55. Though if I did come back, I think I'd want to start the whole experience from scratch.
I kept trying to imagine myself play, and whether or not I'd get bored quickly - sometimes yes, somtimes no.
Anyone else came back after a long break and feel they've made the right or wrong choice?
Also are there are new multiboxing techniques that might tickle my fancy?
Cheers, Dan

Its still the same old shit, just a different scenery :) Fire it up for a month and try it. If you dont like what you see, cancel. :>

I've been thinking of putting Windows 7 on my pc this weekend, I think if I do that - I might give it ago - just abit concerned about starting up my accounts for £45 if I don't enjoy it after 10 minutes :)
edit. One thing that I quite like.. is running BRD, satisfying as a boxer. I'll hold this thought for a while :)

Activate 1 account. Play for a bit. Enjoying it? Think playing 4 more characters will be enjoyable. Then activate all your accounts.
Basically dip your toes in the water, before rushing in and discover the water isn't to your liking.

Activate 1? :) that's crazy talk coming from a fellow boxer...
But you know, it might just work..

Ah but that is the way to get the ex multiboxing addict hooked again.
"Go on, just try one" (opens coat, displaying multiple shrink ranked WoW Battlechests). "It won't hurt". "you can always quit if you dont like it".
Muhaahahahahahahaha (that's my best attempt at an evil laugh by the way).
Pretty soon we'll have you 10 manning raids and dreaming of your own 25 man runs. :)

Cheers, DanI routinely quit wow for 8-10 months at a time, and then end up coming back. Everything seems new and excited for me for at least 6-8 months until I quit again :)

When I saw your user name I immediately thought, Dane Cook and I read your post in his voice. It was funny; you had to be there.

I've reactivated the first account, thought i was ready... had my laptop install wrath of lich king whilst i installed windows 7..then copied over the files to learn i still needed 1.6gb more of updating.. :) good times.
so once that's done and I install - it's time!! :D
Probably looking to start on Saurfang, seems like the newest EU realm according to WOW forums

I'm tempted to start
Paladin, Priest, S Priest, Warlock, Mage
but is this death knight a good alternative, and would it be worth while having that instead of paladin? I don't know

what, you want us to beg you to come back.
from my experience with guildmates , you either need to convert the girlfriend to also be a multiboxer or don't bother coming back.
one of my favorite guildmates quit WoW because his wife was jealous of his time with WoW :cursing:
at first it was just little jibs and soon it became any a full blown "you don't love me anymore" and any time on the game was cheating on her and eventually he left ( the game ) ;(

I've quit over and over. Yeah, I keep quitting. See me quitting? Ok, I can't quit. :(

The girlfriend's first comment is that she'll have more time on the ps3 this way....
