Bind on Account trinkets question

I was thinking of getting the BoA trinkets for my pallys such as the swift hand of justice ('http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=42991') or the Discerning eye of the beast ('http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/mob.html?wmob=31300')
these trinkets give 2% health or 2% mana when you kill something.

per say for me as an mboxer it wouldn't be worth the effort to obtain if they only work on the killing blow ( a solo player wouldn't have that problem )

I wanted to know if these bonus only happen when you give the killing blow or does it happen when anyone on the team kills something?

If you're running a classic melee/healer combo or a dps/healer combo this would be nice on the melee/dps.

I have "Discerning eye of the beast" on my 5 druids. I'm not sure why all the stats don't show in your link, but that's a scaling spell power trinket, so it's not totally worthless for a boxer. @ L60, they have around +22 SP, so for a 5 box team, that's an extra ~100SP every cast.

i used the zangarmarsh (sporeregarr?) +mana return on killing blow in TBC on the shaman and was pleased with it, one of the 4 shaman usually had the killing blow, and it wasn't the same one on a consistent basis, so i found it to be useful while quest grinding out and about in the world.
