EQ2: x2 Raid content

Well - so I go along with my main 6 and did all the mind-numbing do-da to get into the x2 instance

See a single, yellow con x 2, pull - tbth - it hit alot harder than SOH x4...yes, killed it no worries but left my shaking my head without alot of timers down

So I look for another single x 2...down the left - nothing - down the right - nothing..but there are 2 x2s...yes...linked x2s s far as I could see - and you have to be careful on the pull too as the 2 x2s can quickly turn into a 4 x2s...

So okies, pre-warded, had close to 6k of ward hps up, HoT running, my invun shield up - pulled the 2x2s - 2 shotted - thanks for coming

Now we are talking about an 'ancient' pally here with all adv sharded / bejeweled and fabled...POW!

Tried a few times - got peeved so went over to SoH (always have an instance running) just to compare (but I already knew the answer)

Pulled single - 82 x4s - no worries, few 80 x4s - HA! they die fast enough - few 81 x4s - sure - even got a pally master out of one

I just don't get SOE - a single group of 6 can walk into SoH (x4 instance) and basically pull, kill mobs and loot /rinse /repeat - sure, these guys are very nicely kitted out thankyou very muchly but still...

Are they still looking into it? I don't get to read a lot of the other boards very often.

Maybe they'll have it fixed by the time I can even zone in. :P

Let's hope so - alla TSO shard runs - that did change a lot in the first month or so

just a note re shard runs too - I noticed on the offical soe forums the devs are planning to remove the option to do grey runs...so I'd start stockpiling now if you can...

edit: chkd over the log - wasn't 6k of wards - actually had up 8.8k - 2 shot - POW! so a 23k hit (8.8 + 14.4) - and here's me thinking the spiel went something along the lines of 'a standard legendery equipped team can do the instance blahblahblah' - my @ss - I'm sure not 'standard' and I still get wiped

According to EQ2 Wire ('http://fanfaire08.feldoncentral.com/') it's an exploit ('http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?start=0&topic_id=447023&#4986048') now to grey shard runs.

Not sure what if any action they'll take, but there it is. I guess they want "easy" shards to come from the daily solo quest instead of greyed out dungeons.
