Yes I'm new. =)

I have done a lot of reading and trying new macro's and such. I've been dual boxing 2 accounts for years. Never knew there was a program to make it easier. As I have decided I am tired of pugs and not being able to get groups. Even as a healer in great gear.

I am now going to make my own "team" or teams. Anyway I noticed that bliz has a limit on 30 macro's per account. How do you get passed that? If I do several teams. I'm gonna need several sets of macros.

Can I set up cast sequances with say Lightning bolt, fireball, smite in one macro and the correct toon will cast the proper spell or will it cause errors? I am thinking that the toon that isn't a shammy will not see the request for LB and FB and instead "see" smite and cast it.
What I plan on doing since leveling has not been an issue for me since I started wow on release. Is leveling a team of shammy's, druids, warlocks, priest, mage, dk's, rogues, hunters, warriors and pallys. So with that many I'll need lots of macro's to cover everyone. Each team will be leveled in each class. AKA 5 shammys, 5 warlocks. Etc. Once at 80 I plan on making mixed teams. So I can do instances with a tank, dps, healer from my sets.

I used Bindpad for more macro space.

I would say it's a better idea just to use proper macroing, otherwise you will end up with macros that are a total mess to update and control and you will keep running into issues with macro length.

ahh I wasn't sure if it would work with Keyclone, jamba and my other addons which are quite a few.

I'll look further into it. Thank you! Saves me some major worry about running out of space!

I use Jamba commands in my Macaroon macros just fine

I downloaded Macaroon. Tried setting it up for over an hour... no luck what so ever. Bar disappear as soon as I close the menu. Gave up. I even read and reread your posts on how to set it up. They didn't help much. Kinda missing some for a newb =)

I might give it another shot once i learn more about how macro's work. Right now I'm copy paste until I finish reading up on how they work.

I am currently working on new instructions as I type

I am a bit behind, as I was absent a while due to personal reasons. However, I am glad to answer any questions you may have.

I would have to get clarification on bars disappearing, though. The bars themselves are configuration reference frames, which are not active during normal use (not in config). However, any buttons you add to the bar should show if the condition they are set to show is true. Did you add buttons and when you exited config mode, did the buttons vanish too?

Hmm I'm thinking yeh should default to some amount of button, 4-5 with it staying visible, when creating a bar.

I think what happens when someone first starts out .never having done this before, they create a bar then end up clicking somewhere else which causes the bar to become not visible.
Trying to remember the first time I setup macaroon

or instead of right clicking on the mini map button have it so it pops up a menu when yeh click on it then when yeh click on it again it goes away.
That way yeh get a better visual indication yer in edit mode.

Yes I put spells /icons in the buttons. Set transparency up, down, tried all different things to make the bars show up after I exited edit mode. I could press the 1 key and get a "you don't have a target" warning. So its there and set up I just can't see it. Even tried the show only in combat. That didn't work either. Addons normally are very easy for me to configure and get them to work. This one boogles me. But once I spend more time on it and less of a rush to level. I'm sure it will be a <face palm> event.
