after assessing all the toons I have on various (6) accounts I have decided to "thin the flock" a bit as I don't relish the fact of running from 70 to 80 with 6 sets.

this is what I currently have:

Account 1: Paladin (70) - Death Knight (60)
Account 2: Warlock (70) - Shaman (70) - Hunter (68 ) - Druid (65) - Mage (60)
Account 3: Warlock (70) - Shaman (70) - Hunter (68 ) - Druid (65) - Mage (60) - Priest (60)
Account 4: Warlock (70) - Shaman (70) - Hunter (68 ) - Druid (65) - Mage (60) - Priest (60)
Account 5: Warlock (70) - Shaman (70) - Hunter (68 ) - Druid (65) - Mage (60) - Rogue (60)
Account 6: Warlock (70) - Shaman (70) - Hunter (68 ) - Druid (65) - Mage (60) - Priest (60)

so I have decided to make some changes to group composition.
Account 6 will be deleted after moving the Druid to Account 1 (all assets from each character will be sold/ moved to guild bank before deletion)

the following groups will be created:

Group 1: Death Knight - Shaman X4
Group 2: Druid X5
Group 3: Paladin - Warlock - Hunter - Priest - Mage

all the other characters on the accounts will have all the assets removed.

Because the tanks are on the same account they will be interchangable with each group.

Any comments or different changes you would make?

No real comments, I just feel a little sad for that poor, lonely rogue.

don't feel sorry for him... he's a talentless backstabbing money sink :P that I only played to 14 - I was originally going to twink him - from lvl 10 he was run through deadmines on /follow getting all the defias armor, then RAF came along and suddenly he was lvl 60

Seems like a great idea!

You'd have your instance running group, pvp group and mixed instance running to change things up. (at least in my world)

Looks like a good plan.

You have the classic shaman heavy group, the wonderful 5 druid combo and a mixed class group.

Which are you going to level first or are you planning on running a group till out of rested then swapping?

Hehe, that made me laugh, I've got a pair of useless blood elf rogues who've been swanning around on my accounts while their big sisters do all the work

I will need to put together an interim group to level my 60's to 70 (DK, Mage and Priest) and then pickup the Hunter at Netherstorm at 68 and then on to 70 where i will swap the Dk for the Pally and add the Lock.

while I'm levelling these I can alternate with My Druid Group, so they all should hit 70 at around the same time

Why not move the paladin and death knight to account 2 and drop account 1? It's an extra $25 and you can still have the same groups you mentioned but also have more options if you change your mind later. You never know when you might have the urge to play 5x locks or hunters.

Having both tanks on one account does mean that you can't bring them both at the same time. And having no dps on the tank account means that you won't be able to form 5dps groups (unless you dual specc a tank as dps, of course).

really would just need to move the pally - get a DK to 60 is not that much time at all.

From previous experience I'd say don't sell the gear or bags on the toons you're planning to put into statis, you never know when you might fancy playing them again and it's a pita to try and get gear for every slot versus how much you actually make from selling the stuff (or the shards) in the first place.
