Hello everyone.
I am looking into starting dual-boxing, and after perusing the forums and wiki I still have a few unanswered questions and calls for clarification.
My setup: On my main account, I have a level 80 warlock (and a 66 DK for what it's worth). I have a paladin who I plan to have hit 60 with granted levels. I'm looking to quickly level up at least two (or at most three) other characters.
Conditions: One new character will be a druid for certain. The other class I want to level is undecided, but I'd like it to be something available to the Troll race. Possibly I am considering leveling a third new character as a mage. Due to hardware and monitary limitiations, I will only be considering dual-boxing, not multi-boxing.
1) When I have a level 60 on my secondary (referred) account, that character can grant 29 levels to my main account, correct? So the paladin I want to have the levels granted to should be at level 31 with almost enough XP to hit 32 before I grant that character all of the accumulated bonus levels?
2) If I am leveling two characters from 1-60, would it be faster overall for them to:
-Quest together for the RAF bonus xp?
-Boost each one separatly with the level 80 warlock?
-Some other method?
3) If I am leveling three characters from 1-60, would it be faster overall for them to:
-Quest 2 together and boost the third?
-Boost all 3 separately with the level 80 warlock?
-Some other method?
4) Regarding boosting: If I have a level 80 character and a (for example) level 15 character together in an instance, and the level 80 character is pulling and AoEing everything, does the level 15 character get any decent XP at all? How much XP per instance clear would the level 15 get?
5) I know that rested XP doesn't count if you are getting the RAF XP bonus, but if you have two (or more) characters grouped getting RAF bonus XP, do they get additional XP if each has on the BoA shoulder items?
