Originally i posted it in the Jamba Addon sticked thread, but then i thought that that thread is not for the suggestions, but for Bug reports or questions so i crossposted here

I'd love to hear form community if there are some other multioboxers who think this improvements are usefull or have better ideas how to implement them

for some weird reason didn't managed to copy my post here so i had to "reply"... ?(

1st and foremost - thanks for the great addon. I'm using it for 2 days and i definitely
love it. Keep it up!

I have some suggestions which might be nice improvement for the addon in mind.

1) Range Meter

On my main i have addon http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in…ngeDisplay.html
which is great help to me as it shows the very accurate range numbers. As
multiboxer i have very big issues with aggro radius as my team usually fights
mobs 2-3 levels higher than me. So I always try to engage mobs from as far as
possible. The best thing for this addon is that it not only have capability to
estimate the distance to the target, but also for the focus.

Screenshot from the Wowinterface (without Focus range as there are no focus)

My current setup is one priest+4mages (just started them after the shammies)
And as priest stands real close to mages i have some idea based on range
numbers whether my mages are able to blast target or not. But as soon as i add
some melee tank for instances i will lose such possibility. Right now i plan to
add this addon to my slaves setup to be able to track distances for toons and
distance to main (i have focus on main). But it is inconvenient like hell.

What i have in mind: in the Jamba team window along with the "follow
status" add the "range status" to target and to focus. It can be
done with color map for different ranges or numbers just like in the addon i currently
use

What it will do:

- Ability to see if all the toons are able to blast mob
- Ability to see if a healer can heal tank (if tank is set to focus for healer)
- Ability to see if toons are dangerously close to mob AOE
- Ability to see if toons are in follow/trade/decurse range
- Overall better manage the distance

Also it will be nice to get information about the facing of the toon if
possible (in the crowded PvP/PvE it is big issue). I have in mind some sort of
green/red border around the distance numbers if the target is in front or not.

2) Status window
the second improvement i have in mind is the status of actions

Now toons report their status to chat, but with similar names (common practice
among multiboxers) i can not tell fast enough which one of my toons have
troubles. Furthermore when i mashing some DPS/healing button the information in
chat window scrolling like mad if the spell ir not ready or similar so it is
possible to not even notice that something is wring.

I really do not need health or experience bars for each toon to display on my
main window. As for health/mana bars i have Xperl or default WoW interface. As
for XP i do nor really need to see the XP for the team constantly and after i
hit 80 i will not need it at all.

But i definitely need status of action for each toon.
Ideally:
- If the action i try to make is not possible due to STUN, SILENCE, FACING, NOT
READY, ACTION IN PROGRESS etc...
- Castbars for each toon similar to Quartz with displayed Latency? so I can
actually know when to press the next spell to maximize DPS output (nit an issue
for PvE but BIG issue in PvP)
http://s.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw8026.jpg

- Ability to see short time buffs (Clearcasting, Eclipse, etc) and this ability
should be customizable so i can chose which procs to display FOR EACH TOON (multiclass setups)

The ideal castbar IMO should be:

[frostbolt----------| |100ms 1.1][3.0s][4.2s][7.2s]
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
I'll explain
1- the name of the spell casting OR the reason why it cant be cast BOLDFACE AND RED
2- the progress bar
3- the start of the latency notifier (similar to Quarz)
4- the latency in ms (really can go without but can be useful)
5- time left to cast/channel
6- Proc 1 [icon] with the time remaining shown in number of seconds as with OmniCC
7- Proc 2
8- Proc 3

This castbars can replace healthbars/xp bars in the current setup IMO

I saw your post in the Jamba thread, just had not got around to replying to it. I like your idea about a status for each toon. I also have problems with the fast scrolling of textual information from 4 other toons.

Jamba 0.4 was written without a lot of knowledge of Lua or the WoW API or being able to easily add new features to it. I am busy making version 0.5 modular, and giving it an "API" so other developers will be able to build additional modules or modules to replace existing modules.

I have thought of adding range status previously; and this could definitely be added as another Jamba module at some stage.

Thanks for your reply.
I 'll be waiting for the next version of Jamba as it is absolutely awesome tool.
If there will be some API fo Jamba i will also try to implement something by myself (not sure i will be able to do it but for sure i will try)
