Mage+Priest or Mage+Mage?

So thats the question.

Should i box a mage and a priest?
or 2 mages.


If mage and priest?
why?
and what specs?

also listing proffesions would be nice ^^

Mage + Priest
Spec: Mage - Frost (slows mobs while doing good dmg) | Priest - Disc (healing and decent dps)
Reason: Mages tend to die a lot, good to have someone that can heal with you and rez when you die.
Prof: Mining (gold maker), Enchanting (ring enchants + DE (more gold making)), JC (awesome trinkets and able to get dragon's eye from daily)

So i guess that means dual dps is bad

i wouldnt mind playing a presit though...

ill go mining and enchanting for the mage

what for priest tho,,,,

I think it depends if you want to PvP or PvE.
For PvP 2 Arcane Mages with Arcane Barrage and PoM Pyro would be fun in the battlegrounds, and there's always the spirit healer nearby. You could also still blink with two mages, and both can go invis.

I've levelled 2 groups of dual fire mages and I must say, dying was never an issue. I find it easier to run two of the same class (I have run boomkin/s-priest 1-60 as well and it wasn't nearly as much fun) and as mages, nothing gets close enough to hit you without copping a ridiculous amount of damage, and with dual sheeping and frost nova options, CC options are great. Once you glyph out evocation you even have a heal at your disposal :D
