Good damn wtf happend to tremor totem ?
Dont they work anymore?
Seriously iam feared and i have tremor down but all my toons are doing is to run all over the field like chickens with their heads ripped off :cursing:
Its been like this since the last patch and ive spoken to a Gm and the only thing he could tell me, wa that thank you for reporting this kind off problem and that several other shamans had made some statements on it !!!
So does anyone else here had the same problem since the last patch ??? ?(

it only ticks each 3rd second now, last patch it ticked each second. Its a bug fix since it wasnt intended for it to tick that often.

Toon 1 /castsequence Tremor Totem, , ,
Toon 2 /castsequence ,Tremor Totem , ,
Toon 3 /castsequence ,,Tremor Totem ,
Toon 4 /castsequence ,,,Tremor Totem
The tremores totem pulse changed last patch, and if i remeber correctly it was a bug that whit Tremor that would inst remove fear if a party member was feared.

I'm suprised very few people stagger their Tremor totems. Just do what X-lfist suggested :)
staggering totems no longer works. There was a thread on this topic awhile back.

I'm in the Gurubashi arena (sp?) and had 3 priests fear bomb me. I wasn't in fear for very long at all. *edit* by very long I mean a second at most. I must just be lucky :D

yes, they're terrible. i don't even feel like they tick every 3 seconds, it's more like 5. And you have about a 90% chance to have just missed a tick when you get feared - I cana't rememebr the last time it broke early.
The great thing is every warlock, priest, and warrior in wow has caught on. BGs, like EOTS, are just one big fear fest. 2 or 3 suicide warlocks and priests that run into the middle of my group with no goal other than to fear bomb me, then dot up one of the alts that run 30 yards in the opposite direction.
Sad thing is I finally have enough gear to really enjoy BGs, and the teams without fear bombers I just wipe the floor with and will go 0 shaman deaths the entire game, even if they have gear. Teams with anyone that can fear, they just wipe the floor with me. it's even worse than those teams that are bent on popping every single cooldown they have, even fi it's 10 on 4, and using every aoe at the same time. That's annoying but at least I can take 3 or 4 of them with me.

It used to be, they would pulse when you dropped them, and every 2 seconds thereafter.
So you could do your macro...
Totem,,,
,Totem,,
,,Totem,
,,,Totem
And spam it four times over 2 seconds, for roughly a maximum of 0.5 seconds of fear before a pulse.
Now, totems pulse every 3 seconds and they pulse according to the server clock.
If you were in a raid with 40 shamans total and someone were to do a fear bomb, regardless of the number of tremor totems out, you have no more protection then a single tremor totem. They all pulse according to the server clock.
Pretty crappy change, imo, but then I'm biased.
Multiple tremors is just more then one to be destroyed, before you're completely vulnerable to fear instead of just mostly vulnerable.

I believe they will be changed to what he described above in 3.1, but I could be wrong.

I've always staggered my tremor totems and I've seen fear break within a second and sometimes take 4-5 seconds to break. In PVP, in PVE it tends to break earlier. There are fear break differences as well in PVE vs PVP, such as it is supposed to last shorter in PVP, and of course damage taken can make fear break earlier. Anyways I haven't seen anyone really test it out since 3.09 and say emphatically whether it pulses on server clock, I do believe that is the intention in patch 3.1 however.

Its all good, soon we wont even need tremor totem. They are nerfing fear pretty hard

I pretty much just trinket all of my followers out of the fear if it doesn't break within 2 seconds because of how terrible the tremor totems are now
