Picking classes to multibox.

So I see that the more popular selection is shaman. I've also seen a few mages and sometimes just several different classes.

What about moonkins? I don't think I've ever seen that done.

Any good links for information on what classes would be best / work together well, please let me know :)

I currently have an 80 holy paladin and 80 mage.

But are you planning to go all druids?



I saw a full drood team today.
They were around level 20,
and they were doing great in south barrens.

I personally dual box a priest and a mage.

Very fun imo.

I'm boxing 5 druids atm, went into deadmines at lv17, got to first boss, but i couldnt get any further (oom issues at the low lvl). dinged 1 lvl in that 20mins of play :)
I went druids because I could tank, DPS and heal with any one of them (appropriately geared of course).
I think shamans are chosen for their Mail armor being the toughest of any spellcaster dps and the weapon buffs and totems. Boomys would be great in that once you are able to shapeshift all toons, their armor will jump greatly (370% increase for Boomys, 100% increase for 3/3 improved tree-of-life).
I'm only starting out but ive got 5x lv18 druids, 5x lv11 shammys (attempting to get all to lvl 60 before triple xp times out) and i think that with alittle more experience a mix of druids and shammys will show the best promise.

Theres a video of The Moo's (is that correct?) running a 5 druid team through Violet Hold and Azjol Nerub. Gosh he/she makes it look easy

Ichigo and the #4 fight. He gets owned, #4 releases his sword state just to show theres no hope in him winning, then to really destroy all hopes #4 release another unseen before state thats about x2 more powerful then releasing his sword. Toys around with Ichigo and finally kills him...again. Ichigo comes back alive with a form after his mask - a full hollow state. Instantly showing off his power he rips off #4's arm with his bare hands. Basically his inner hollow is full released and is now "The King of all Hollows".

Something I noticed as I have been gearing up my team at L80 is that my Elemental Shaman's SP was always way higher than my mage, spriest and boomkin.

It was way easier to gear up my shaman. One example is the titansteel guardian mace. My mage loses out big on a good weapon until I get Kirin Tor to exalted (I think?). I suppose I could have planned around this but I never bothered. My mage is still about 300 SP behind my shaman and boomkin and I have been focussing on gearing him up.

Anyway, If you plan on purchasing a bunch of epic gear from the AH to quick start heroics, the elemental shaman is the best choice for DPS IMO - Revenant's, Windripper, Ebonweave/Spellweave, Titansteel etc. Access to mail, leather, cloth and shields is a huge bonus for a DPS class.
