any reasons to buy mark/honor gear before 3.1?

I'm building up a good stock of honor points and WG marks, and of course just itching to buy stuff with it. I've got no trinkets, and still have the blue helm.

Given the new WG trinkets, is there any reason to buy the old pvp trinket or flow of knowledge? Or should I just wait?

You should grab the wg helm as soon as possible of course. As far as trinkets I plan on using both WG trinkets.

The WG gear items are not bad. Try to bank 75k honor for season 6. Hatefull will have no rating and deadly wil have a small rating. They are starting teams at 0 so I dont know if getting 1500 rating will be hard or easy. 1500 is the max rating for deadly shoulders. After that you start getting into the new gear.

You should grab the wg helm as soon as possible of course. As far as trinkets I plan on using both WG trinkets.The hateful helm will also be honor only, so it really depends on whether you want +crit (and potential set bonus) or +haste, or +hit, as the rest of the stats are identical.


As for the other pieces...

Skip the WG boots (ilvl 200), as the Deadly boots (ilvl 213) are better and will be honor only

The WG belt will be equivalent to the Deadly belt (which will also be honor only) - both ilvl 213, so like above, its just a case of which stat you prefer.

The WG chest is a bit better - its ilvl 213, while the Hateful is only ilvl 200 - although it has a potential set bonus.

And yeah - the WG trinkets look awesome.

Thanks guys. I've held off of everything for now since the hateful gear will be available via honor. Kinda feel like I'm waiting for an expansion again.. hoarding mats/points/etc but no point in spending anything until its out

is the honor cap still 75000 even though the rewards went up?

If you do wintergrasp only 3-4 times a day you can make insane honor, I get about 20k/day in about 90 minutes of PVPing, and I'm afk for a lot of it. I've actually had to burn honor on thinks like the resil trinket and cape just because I keep creeping up to 75k.

Make sure to pick up the quests, they each give 1241 honor. I skip the collection one since its completely stupid, but I do the other 3-4 daily for an extra 4-5k bump (usually I skip tower, too far away lol)

The collection quests are AMAZING! All you ahve to do is kill 2 horde where it asks you to, and then loot them on all your guys. SO easy =)

Behaving like a douche isn't exactly going to give boxing a good name.

play on my server before you throw rocks, its pretty much known as Winterlag and nobody can do anything for the last 10 minutes, offense pretty much wins every single time due to the lag. There are at least 500 players on each side during the evenings so I seriously doubt my 5 chars are having much of an effect.

I had problems with people booting my guys from raids, or removing me or not inviting..

So now i try to move them around so they are not grouped together and i have no problems getting into raids or getting marks lol, i just whisper the guys making raids spaced out one at a time and im golden.

I think I'm the only 80 horde multiboxer on nath and most people know me or have seen me. I've never had a problem getting a WG raid, I just have all of them "/s invite"
