Explosive shot is raping me lol

Dealing with explosive shot? How do we do it, that stuff is just raping me hard any help is appreciated

I guess it will hurt alot less then im 80 and have some resil, but damn its killing me right now as im trying to farm up some honor for when i hit 80.

It'll still do that at 80, with resil. My main has about 19k hp and 600 resil and wheN i encounter a survival hunter I go to half HP almost instantly. They will kill me in 5 seconds without healing. So I pretty much flame shock -> bomb heals on main -> lava burst, and if he wants to pop a bunch of cooldowns, disappear, feign death and use 15 other ways to interrupt my spells well then I'm bombing heals until he runs out, it's like the rhino boss, forget about it...

Explosive Shot: Base damage lowered by 10%. Attack power scaling reduced by 12.5%. The periodic damage from this ability no longer triggers Judgement of Wisdom and Judgement of Light.

The dot is fire damage, so if you have a way to icnrease tyour fire resistance, you can reduce the damage from this even further.

Probably feasible to run around with a fire resist totem all the time now, with totems no longer stacking in parties. I figure my water totems will now be:

- Mana spring
- Cleansing Totem
- Cleansing Totem
- Fire Resistance Totem

Good thing, man that shit hurts hard... I think I will take that note and do 3 cleansing + 1 fire resist along with 1 frost it seems.

I do, but I wasnt sure what setup the OP is running - the suggestion was for him. :)

By the way - healing stream still stacks, its only Mana spring that will no longer be stacking.

I actually didn't have fire resist up i guess i overlooked it lol. I had nature and frost.. i seem to get pwnt by druids atm, i had one farming me but he was rocking 880 resil >< so my lavabursts were lke 3k lol.

Im making the change to mykeybindings to include fire and frost here shortly now... its just that stuff still hurts even a level 70 in season 4 gear was tearing me up with it lol.

All PvP hunters will pretty much be converting to Marksmanship in 3.1, so this ability will soon be a non factor.
I was getting blown up by Explosive Shot last night, 2600 crits with 860 resilience on. It's kind of dumb.

Your right about that explosive shot get this. 80 DK 520 res 22k hp and i got gang by three hunters lets just say dead in less then 2 secs. I checked back to see what hit me it was 3 explosive shots i was like holy shit. Biggest one hit me for 6k i was like how the hell does a melee class combat this crap. They just send pet in stun you explosive shot drop trap you dg they do some wierd as knockback move and your dead. Although i did get my payback on one today. He was looking at me like yea im a hunter and imma rape you haha. I was like ok this is gonna hurt so i chains of iced him he sent his pet in MARK OF BLOOD the pet ( yes pet does more damage faster so he heals you faster and the hunter doesnt realize it). I came after him noticed he drop his friggin trap but oh well ran over it ibf, lichborne then kept going after him he then did his knockback dg him in chains of ice he scatter shot kissing my trinket obliterate him twice it crit and ps i win. But still i cant wait till hunters get nerfed. Oh yea aint pallies getting nerfed too. I can fight a pally all day long get him down then he bubbles full health and then i die grrrr. Imma dk give me bubble and stuns and removing stuns like them lol. Lighter note was beating a pally ab he went to jump off the cliff in ab to the gm oh shit his bubble wore off as he jumped i dg him back up he went to jump again i hit silence then chains of ice and watched him fall to his death lol.

Surprised I don't see a post from a team of PvPing hunters. I bet the burst on multiple explosive shot would be enjoyable to watch.
